I've never heard of FinalMouse, but I'm always on the quest for the perfect mouse for my hand. This one looks like a pretty good contender.

http://www.geek.com/chips/pc-cooling-specialist-zalman-goes-bankrupt-due-to-fraud-1608736/ Let's share a moment of silence for this iconic staple of the PC cooling scene...

I like the direction Antec is taking with their cases. I was a big Antec fan back in the mid 2000's, but as their cases progressively got more "flashy", I looked elsewhere. Glad to see some of their recent cases toning that down a bit, while still maintaining a bit of flair.

This might be the first "On the house" game that I pass on. Looks awful

I was originally BindyBoondyBa. I can't even remember when that came from. I know alcohol was involved. I shortened that to just Bindy a couple years ago just for ease. I then found out that Bindy was Steve Irwin's daughter's name. Not to be outdone, I changed it to SirBindy to cement my masculinity!

Gotcha. I wasn't thinking fullscreen.

How could they even tell that they weren't regular glasses!? They look so incognito!

It won't show you the FPS of the actual video window. It will show the overall browser window. Fun fact, you can also enable a native FPS counter within chrome You can tell the video is 60fps if you're on the "720p60" or "1080p60" quality setting. If those options are unavailable, the video is not available in 60fps (or the channel hasn't been granted that feature yet. I uploaded a 60fps test video to see if I have it on my channel... but not yet)

I'd be more interested in how they managed to get the battery to last long enough to record a full length movie

That will actually just tell you how fast your browser is rendering itself (if its hardware accelerated)

This may only affect the USA, but still made me chuckle. http://www.nbcnews.com/tech/innovation/its-official-google-glass-banned-movie-theaters-n236841

Funny that Wal*Mart basically claimed that Apple Pay wasn't secure enough for them... http://www.businessinsider.com/currentc-hacked-2014-10

You'll have 2 more quality options: "720p60" and "1080p60"

Anybody tried this out yet? FPS Platformer/puzzle/speed runner. Popped up on Steam on Oct 17 with almost no fanfare (http://store.steampowered.com/app/284460/) I've actually been playing the shit out of it. I love this type of game. I'm convinced that the guys who designed the levels are evil geniuses. Didn't see a thread about it yet. I'm also doing a playthrough on YT if anyone's interested: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZ5T1kZir63zj9dcpFB8hsjNSOzrStx2f /shameless plug

While the Killer won't be as fast as a nice Intel NIC, it's not noticeably far behind. I use an Intel NIC instead of my onboard Killer NIC on my MSI Z87-GD65 because the Killer software caused BSOD's all the friggin' time for no reason.

The Zotac Extreme is friggin' awesome looking. I'd love a chance to experience what team-green has to offer these days. My last NV card was a GTX275, been on team-red ever since. /crosses fingers

1 Million Subscribers - Thank you all! And a giveaway!
SirBindy replied to nicklmg's topic in LTT Releases
I found LTT when I was looking for reviews of the Corsair Vengeance 2000 headset. I later watched some videos on other hardware that I was interested in. Ultimately, I subbed and watched a TON of back videos. When I found out about Tech Quickie, I binged for most of an afternoon watching all the "As fast as possible" videos (even when I already understood the subject matter.) I've gotten all of my tech friends hooked on your LTT/TQ content as well. I wish you guys a long prosperous life in the business and keep up the good work.- 22,217 replies

I like Nvidia's "Optimus" tech that hands off display functions as necessary. Also... all that sexy red... mmmmmmm

That'd be the one to go for. That way, you're getting the cooler and retail warranty. The OEM chips don't come with a cooler and I don't believe they carry as nice a warranty, if any.

What GPU's are you guys looking forward to?
SirBindy replied to TheTechAddict's topic in Graphics Cards
As much as I love my AMD cards, I'm excited to see what kind of wizardry Nvidia can muster up with their high-end Maxwell cards. -
You might be able to whittle down that vCore a little bit. That will help a lot. Once you've found the lowest stable vCore for you, try lowering the VCCIN bit by bit as well.
