fnixha reacted to Falkentyne in XL2735 vs xl2730
This is a bit of a stupid question.
You should be asking what the differences are in the monitors.

The XL2730Z/XL2730 uses the exact same AUO panel as the Asus PG278Q Rog Swift.  The part number of the panel is different due to Asus' different bezel mountings; otherwise they are the exact same panel.  Thus the exact same issues with "inversion artifacts" will happen, as well as premature failings of the panel (something pretty much unheard of on the 6 bit+FRC 144hz 1080p panels).  Both models have been known to fail prematurely with similar symptoms; e.g. blurry fonts, fonts blurry on half the screen, etc.

The XL2730 is a 1440p panel that supports AMD Freesync.  It supports Benq blur reduction at 120hz and 144hz ONLY; 100hz strobing is broken (it synchs at 120hz, causing extreme stuttering and completely unusable).  The strobe tech was flawed when they updated the old Mstar code (From the XL2720Z) to the XL2730Z.  Vertical Total (VT) tweaks are "Accepted" by the monitor but fail to reduce strobe crosstalk at all at 120hz.

The XL2735 is a 1440p panel that does NOT support AMD Freesync.  The scaler is a slightly newer revision that FIXED the broken strobing issue in the XL2730, by reverting the code to similar to what the XL2720Z used; 100hz will strobe properly again, and lower refresh rates (85hz via custom, 60hz) will double strobe.  There is no override to single strobe at 60hz like there was on the 1080p Benq blur reduction monitors, unfortunately.  HOWEVER, since the strobe code was reverted to similar code as the XL2720Z, Vertical Total tweaks work once again to reduce strobe crosstalk!  VT 1825 is accepted at 100hz and 120hz via custom resolutions, reducing strobe crosstalk by a large amount.

I don't have bandwidth limitations .. It's a shame that countries/companies do have limited bandwidths .. because Internet should be accessible by everybody.

It's weird tbh. but yeah I understand your point.

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it. Through a peculiar turn of events, the version of GNU which is widely used today is often called “Linux”, and many of its users are not aware that it is basically the GNU system, developed by the GNU Project. There really is a Linux, and these people are using it, but it is just a part of the system they use. Linux is the kernel: the program in the system that allocates the machine’s resources to the other programs that you run. The kernel is an essential part of an operating system, but useless by itself; it can only function in the context of a complete operating system. Linux is normally used in combination with the GNU operating system: the whole system is basically GNU with Linux added, or GNU/Linux. All the so-called “Linux” distributions are really distributions of GNU/Linux.

As i said in title i would like to see more linux videos from LinusMediaGroup. Benchmarks(dont know if i wrote it right) games on linux since more games are coming for linux and that would save some bucks since linux is free and if you do a video please include how to get ready for gaming in linux and stuff. Btw i would like to see more videos how new components perform on everyday windows partitions. And hey AMD cpus and gpus still exist?!! no matter who is the sponsor intel or asus

    That did it. THANK YOU!
I feel kinda stupid for overlooking this...and it makes sense why the free space went down after uninstalling, there were 40GB of restore point. Although I don't get why it used so much space by default, or why non of the programs I used detected it.
Anyway thanks again to all for the help.

at the first screenshot i didnt see "System Volume Information" and at the second screenshot i saw that "System Volume Information" folder is 0 bytes and thats not possible for a windows system drive then it means its not reading disk usage for that folder at all. System Volume Information contains registry keys and windows system restore backups so if registry keys doesnt take more than (i would say 100mb) then its windows system restore taking that space?!

It's an easy mistake to make but yeah, I thought it was a motherboard with a 10GB SSD cache built in or something. That's one beast of a motherboard. Two 10Gbps ports and two 1Gbps ports? 7 PCIe slots? It's insane.

So, here's my experiences, that I can come to think of now:

    - After I've fixed a computer for a friend or relative, they always blame me for every future problem.
    - Two guys were talking in an MMORPG I used to play, and one of them said that he overclocked his hard drive and his computer is now more than twice as fast.
    - Whenever I tell someone that I like computers and technology, they always assume I just post stuff on Facebook and play Farmville all day long.
    - My mom freak out every time an email from someone she doesn't know, slips through the spam filter and end up in her inbox. Something worth mentioning is that she use hotmail, so she freaks out a lot.

    Edit: fixed the formatting.
