  1. Yep. I'm keeping it. Will only replace if something better comes up, on a good price. Thanx everyone for the replies.
  2. I hope so. My new parts will arrive on a couple of weeks, so I still have time to get a different PSU, if some good deal shows up. Thanx again.
  3. Yeah, I knew this was a hard one. I know Asus recommends at least 750W for the 3080 Strix, so the Corsair would be just "fine". As the EVGA would be "better". From Gold to Platinum I don't think I would get much more. So the wattage is my real concern. Let's see if anyone else has different inputs. Thanx for the replies.
  4. Hi everyone. Current system: - Corsair 4000D Airflow - Gigabyte X570 Gaming X - Ryzen 9 5900X - Asus RTX 3080 Strix - 32GB (4x8GB) Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3600MHz - EVGA Supernova G2 850W Gold PSU (model 220-G2-0850-XR) - Corsair H100i v2 Got my hands, for a very good price, on a i9 12900k CPU and Kraken Z73 cooler, so decided to do the jump. I know I won't get a lot more, but will be for a minimal cost. Already ordered a Aorus Z790 Elite AX board and 32GB (2x16GB) Corsair Dominator 5600MHz RAM. My only doubt is: my PSU is working just fine, but I have it since 2014. I can get my hands, also for a good price, on a Corsair HX750 Platinum PSU (model CP-9020137-WW), with full 10 year warranty. It's probably better to have the extra 100 watts PSU. But maybe the "renewed" warranty could make the Corsair PSU a better alternative. One never know what can happen. I won't do any overclock and, lately, not gaming at all, due to work and personal stuff. So, would you replace the almost 10 year old EVGA PSU for the Corsair one, or keep it? Thank you.
  5. Hi, everyone. First, here are my computer basic specs: Asrock X99M Fatality Killer Intel Core i7 5820K 16GB DDR4 2400MHz GSkill Gigabyte GTX 1070 Gaming G1 Samsung 960 EVO 500GB NVMe About a month ago I tried to turn on my computer and fans started to spin, LEDs flashed and all turned off. Then it auto tried to start again, over and over, with no success. I had to turn the PSU off, so it stops. I tried unplugging stuff to check for some faulty accessory and the computer booted up when I removed an USB 3.0 adapter. Until yesterday everything was working fine. But now the problem is back again. Once again, I disconnected everything, but the problem persisted. Tested my EVGA PSU with the included test bridge it comes with. Seems to be working fine. By this time I was already turning it on using the onboard mobo power button, to make sure the case front panel was not the problem. Changed BIOS from A to B, on the onboard switch. Nothing. Turned PSU off, waited some seconds and reset CMOS using the back panel button. Turned PSU on. It booted up! Directly to UEFI, of course. Just hit F10, to save and reboot. I was back in Windows. Relief. Turned the computer off. Turned it on again, no boot. Same initial spin on fans and turning off. Auto trying to turn on again. Same thing as before. It was late, so I went to bed. Today I decided to test with just one stick of RAM. No boot. PSU off, cleared CMOS, boot to UEFI, save and reboot. No luck. Tried another stick of RAM, same steps, now it worked. I was on Windows. So then I was believing the problem could be that stick of RAM. Tried another one, on another slot, no luck. Tried some combinations, no luck. It seems random. Now everything makes me believe I have a faulty motherboard. Any clue? Any other thing I can test? I was on UEFI revision 3.40 and now I'm on 3.50 (latest). I don't have another X99 computer here. All I can try is the PSU from another PC. A 1156 build. So nothing is compatible. Any reply is very welcome.
  6. For me? The Razer Blade Stealth, pls Perfect for my trip to Poland in the end of the year.
  7. Kiro for me, please. White peripherals are so 90s.
  8. Giveaway? I'm on it! International? Hell yeah! A cool box to use on my living room, instead of a desktop!
  9. International giveaway? I'm on it! My favorite? Probably the headset.
  10. The only adblock software that I have is a plugin on Chrome. The plugin does not load on IE or Chrome privacy tab. The plugin loads on Chrome on my notebook, where the images load just fine. So it's not the adblock plugin.
  11. Hello everyone. I'm having a problem here that's bugging me for some months and I have no more ideas where to look for the solution. There is a certain website, which hosts the images on amazonaws.com, that I cannot see any image. None of them load. But it happens ONLY on my desktop. On my notebook, tablet and smartphone it loads just fine. So it's not a router or internet problem. The only security application running is Windows Defender and the images do not load even with Defender turned off. There are no entries on the registry that might be blocking this images from loading. And it also happens on two virtual machines I installed to test. Ubuntu 15.04 and Windows 10. So... what the heck is blocking those images from loading? Does not load on Chrome, neither IE. With or without plugins. Neither on privacy mode. Also there are no IPs or addresses on the hosts file. Any clue? Thanx.
  12. Do you believe I just found it, right after posting here? The exact same product. But seems to work as I want. Will take months to receive it But I'll give it a shot. Thanx!
  13. My mobo, a ASRock X99M Killer, has a 20pin port facing up and my Corsair 350D has a stiff cable, so it's not easy to bend and it forces the 20pin port. Has anyone ever came accross a L shaped USB 20 pin adapter, so I can plug the USB 3.0 cable in the same directions as the SATA ports? I couldn't find it anywhere. But maybe I'm using the wrong words.
