Hahaha wait till they get older! Perhaps they'll think they have the coolest dad on earth. I'm the only one in my family who enjoys long gaming sessions and would've loved if someone else in my family enjoyed my hobbies as much as I do.

That being said though, hopefully they don't jump on the train of "let's replace some 'old' hardware just because something new came out".

Then you should be fine for the CPU.

a big nay. unless you just want a look, the edge water cooling should provide
will be a big disappointment. mid/high-ended air cooler for functionality and
    you're golden.

Forgot to say, your temps are fine, a bit hot on the GPU but TOTALLY within specs, and you have 2 GPUs, it runs hot, that's just how it is, but nothing will throtle, let alone be damaged by those temps, they are totaly fine.

Xeons are designed to be extremely quiet and cool, so unless you want to really overvolt it to the max, then no.

Yeah, I'm definetely happy with the heat/sound/performance of this card.
Now to save some $$ for a mobo and cpu upgrade in the future!

    Thanks everyone for the help!

    Wow! Just got my EVGA.
    Some details:
Idle for about 1 hour, my temp is at a stable 36C with rpm at 1250
While playing D3, Fan goes to 43% with temp at 53C

this is an amazing difference. I'm running 3dmark right now and will post up.
to note, my gpu is so quiet and i can hear every fan in my case now (and they are at the lowest setting there is (about 1000 rpm). my mind is getting blown right now.

    doing 3dmark now

So while waiting for the EVGA to come, I went to the local Frys and got a Asus R9 280x to test out (I will be returning it since I needed something now).
On idle, the temp is at 48C with Fan at 1800RPM
When I'm playing D3, Fan goes up to 75% with temp at 60C

When I get the EVGA, I'm going to test this too to see how that goes.

also to note, i did 3dmark11 test on it. max temp hit was 66 with max fan speed at 76%
i couldnt run the entire test, after the firestrike demo and testing started, the gpu crashed so i had to start again and same thing. This time just did the solo firestrike test and got a score of 5771
i'll do the same thing with evga.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it.
I'll get the dust cleaned up this weekend and update with pics. As for now, I wont' be able to (baby needs me, diapers!).
Freeterican, nice rig man, I see how awesome it looks cleaned (no dust at all!)
With my case, cable management is a little tricky since the cables from the PSU are really short (and I have alot left over) but I'll do my best (hopefully better this time around).

What was wierd though, and guys please provide some input on this, is that with the case open for about 30 mins, the temp did not drop 1 degree. It stayed the same. Shouldn't it drop something if the case is open and there is all this air coming in?
