I have a vague plan of replacing the keycaps on my G710. The keyboard is white, so white keycaps make sense.
Finding a reasonably priced dye subbed or double shot Cherry profile PBT keycap set? That's easy.
Finding a dye subbed cherry profile PBT keycap set that has an additional kit to add Norwegian keycaps? A bit harder, but I found some.
Finding a white keycap set? That's easy.
Finding a reasonably priced white dye subbed/double shot Cherry profile PBT keycap set that has a kit for Norwegian keycaps, and a kit for a 6,5u space bar bottom row? That's absolutely impossible.
That 6,5u space bar refers to the width of the space bar. A normal letter key is 1u in width. A normal space bar is 6,25u. But Logitech decided to go for a 6,5u space bar.
But no worry, that's the same as on the Corsair K70. So, what if I find a reasonably priced Cherry profile blank PBT keycap set for the K70 that just supports ISO? Yes, finally! Oh wait.... I can either get an ISO set or a set for the K70. That's $27 or $30. If I want a set that both supports the K70 and an ISO layout, I have to buy the full set for $43. Which means paying import fees. And due to the way that works in Norway, it ends up as a minimum of $72 for the set. (Assuming the store writes the real value on the declaration)
Why couldn't Logitech just go for a normal 6,25u space bar? That one simple change would make this a whole lot easier...
On another note, I found a coloured Cherry profile ISO enter key with a cat paw printed on it. That's cute.
And on yet another note, I am in the process of making a proper post about the G710 mod. Should be finished some time this or next weekend.

@Dissitesuxba11s That's not a bad idea at all. I could do that, but I would have to get OEM profile keycaps, though (I'm assuming that's what it uses?)

@seon123 Not really sure what profile they are. My guess would be OEM but you can use the pic below to compare the Windows keycaps.
