Before an exam, the proceeding school day is given up to prepare for the exam. The exam is on Tuesday next week, so they gave us... the Wednesday this week to prepare. 

The 17th is the national nationals day of Norway. Then we just don't have school on Friday. On Monday it's Whit Monday, so that's off as well. 

Not that I'm complaining ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Oh man if i knew you where from Norway i would have written to you in Norwegian ;) i grew up in Skien / Gulset ;) 

    Btw, dont you start your National day celebrations around the 11th of may and end around the 29th of may ;) atleast thats what we did when i lived in Norway ;)

    Oh, I prefer talking tech in English anyway. I'm from Trondheim. 

    Huh, interesting. Here, we just celebrate it on the 17th, with some corps practicing a few days before.

    Ah we are talking 26-30 years ago now my friend ;) times do change ;) on a side note though got my new PSU yday and man its so silent i hear the water tank refilling in the building i live in ;)
