  6. No, (Yes to OP) You can plug the old drive into the new system and it will work, no re install needed, maybe uninstall GPU drivers but even without that should still work. If it's an OEM key, you may have activation issues, but it might work. If retail key, no problems.
  7. Could just be traffic, causing things so slow down. It's fine atm for me. but it happens periodically, especially closer to peak times, it slows down.

  11. (12 MB/s ) (96mbps), (just making sure you know that ;)), But if your pc supports gigabit (10/100/1000) ethernet, then you will not get a faster connection, if your pc only supports 10/100, then there may be room to go faster, BUT, first you need to know what the ACTUAL internet speed is, not the one you measured, and if they limit total speed per connection etc.
  12. I don't water cool, so take this with a grain of salt, but i'm pretty sure ALL the fluid in a loop will always be the same temp.
  13. My bad i should have clarified, Short answer is no, Longer answer, yes it is possible, but your school's infrastructure is most likely not setup in such a way where that will be of benefit, plus Linus had 4 ports on the server running to 4 ports onto another pc directly, which is the most ideal and best case setup, and it was still a rather large headache, if the max speed of gigabit from a single cable isn't enough for you in a dorm, I question what you need that much bandwidth for,,,,,,,,
  14. Your speed will not increase, just run one cable from the wall to your pc.
  15. Seems like a game developer issue.
