Well What modem are you running? If your running Docis 2.0 modem it can only handle up to like 25 to 30. Reason for this it only has one channel. If you have docis 3.0 modem you should get full speeds what you would expect. Because it has 3 channels instead 1 channel. Think as if it was a highway with a single lane would not get as much traffic as you would with 3.

Do you have budget. what about mouse keyboard monitors. your ssd is a bit small Id recommend at least 240gb also 1tb hdd will not take to long to fill!

sounds like a power supply issue. \ Best to swap power supplys if you can. or if ya have buddy loan ya one. Also when you go buy a new Power supply id recommend buy a good high joules surge protector like 2000 joules. If you have one already check if the surge protector light is on ans says surge protection is on. If its off throw it out and do as said last sentence or could claim warranty. ive toasted to many electronics without surge protectors. I swear by them! its depends on the case you have or getting and also the height of the ram. some ram sticks tend to have giant heatsinks. i had one time really tall ram. so i had to place the and like few mm higher than it should.

its cheap. thats reason I bought it. I changed my fan though. i waned to add more bling to my rig so I got enermax vegas trio. really nice fan but was expensive as the cooler lol. fan never goes over 1200rpm and my cpu is oc 4.1ghz

evga customer service is good and warranty is usually 3 years with there higher end cards. Plus I believe the warranty is transferable.

I said proper 4gb, and when I mean proper I mean same vram 4gb all in one not separate 3.5gb and 512mb. Thought you would figure.
