Might as well get a 4790k if you can find one cheap enough.

Saving is the best option at that price point.
Here's a build that won't catch fire for 20 over budget

could work, although think Id swap the memory for some g skill, £4 more for 8gb, that patriot stuff is really not cheap over here

Gumi Rokkaku reacted to LienusLateTips in Build for a friend
Nope, don't use that PSU, IMO I would rather use a $10 Delta OEM unit that comes with prebuilts. The thing is probably a fire hazard.

Gumi Rokkaku got a reaction from AcidBees in Help me pick [on a budget]
That built with a 4790k is a pretty solid deal
If you can save up that much before someone buys it, definitely go with that one.

Gumi Rokkaku reacted to Howitz in Getting a motherboard invoice from a prebuilt system
try contacting walmart, this information should belong to you, if they refuse in such case i think you can return them the computer due to it lacking what you need to activate msi account and so on, basically incomplete in a way.

Gumi Rokkaku reacted to Borealis in System very unstable, chkdsk has no effect
...Now it's okay for some reason? I honestly don't know what just happened.
So, the conclusion is that "It fixed itself"...
EDIT: It died again, and I now suspect the graphics card is borked. I'm sending this off to the manufacturer for repair once the holiday ends.

Without going to a data recovery specialist, there's not really much you can do.
