  1. here is some stuff i received recently from corsair support. the front panel i/o assembly that i got awhile ago but it's been sitting in the box replacement for the broken hdd tray new front panel mesh they sent a full door to replace the warped window. lets see if this one is any better this new one has the exact same window and it is dented this window is not flush with the door panel either, not sure if it's any better than mine, but i don't think so
  2. Here is a speed test of the LaCie drive
  3. Thank you guys. Here is a quick look at a really nice and very well priced 3TB external drive by LaCie. NCIX has these for $129 and they are $124 at Canada Computers. The aluminum enclosure is great quality and the entire thing has a really good feel to it. It's nice and small for a 3.5 inch drive, the blue LED at the back/top is very dull so it doesn't light up the entire room or hurt your eyes like some blue LEDs. I've been writing to it for a few hours and it's only slightly warm and it's very quiet. Not sure what the speed is like yet but I will run a speedtest soon.

  12. I actually hooked them up to the 650D stock fan controller so I can use that to set them to low med or full (I guess that is 5V 7V and 12V like on the fractal cases) speed. I actually prefer that because when they were fixed at 800rpm I was never able to turn them up if I wanted to. The noctua fans aren't that bad really at 12V though, I've had them running full for hours at a time and I barely even notice after I start doing normal stuff. The loudest thing I have right now is actually that Sans Digital mobileRAID with the 40mm fan on it.

  18. Here is a look at the cables with the USB3.0 and front audio connected after I cleaned it up. I also removed the Noctua NH-D14 fan reducers which I thought looked messy. With NH-D14 reducers IMG_1719 by Andre Vautour, on Flickr Without reducers IMG_1124 by Andre Vautour, on Flickr
