cool atm, hot days coming again, and even on colder evenings, my house never goes below like 23.  guinea pigs could die over 28C, so i leave it at 27C Cool.

Ya, haven't had the time go to through that atm.  We put a guinea pig cage infront of the thermostat because it was the best place for it, as it would also keep the temperature regulated for the pigs, without additional hardware, and was able to remote in the thing for adjustments.  But i'll be doing my checks as winter is approaching and best to get this dealt with.  Thanks

i got the RTX 3060ti.  Its been really good so far.  thanks for the clarification,  I get tthe bottleneck limits what my GPU can do, but i actually dontt need it performing at 100% for now.  However, converting my video archives to h.265 its significantly faster, and running tthe gpu at 100%.  As well as some video edits i do occasionally.
    TThanks again!

welllll, thats unfortunate.  Guess i'll just wait to see whats to come.  Probably pick up a GPU first.  I hope good stuff is coming.
Ya, the 3GB ram is absolutely crappy.  On older titles, it was absolutely limiting, but on newer titles, its been less of an issue.  It seems games wont even let me use 3GB of VRAM as i'm forced to play lowest settings on everything to get acceptable frame rates.  it is nice that i can up the texture a lot, but it lowers my fps by 3-5 per quality upgrade option.  It adds up quite quickly.
I did notice that by changing the power management from the Nvidia control panel did help a lot.  Despite the framerates are the same, the game is much more playable.  It was on "Optimal" before.  I also adjusted the 3d settings to Performance instead of Quality.  Now 60FPS actually looks like 60FPS, but there are still lots of stutters that makes playing Pubg extremely frustrating.  (nothing like unable to shoot a guy because it stutters when i see people)

you can get this,  you said you wanted a battery, or a charger, this is a 2-in-1.  its good if its for your phone.  handy cause you can use this as your nightly charger, and take it with you in the morning with the charger cables attached. Best of all, its from a reputable company, and you have money spare for other stuff.

My guess is no, because most streaming services only buffer say like a minute of the video at most. Netflix is also designed to automatically adjust the quality of the video based on the quality of the connection.

The PSU us not dying. It's providing unclean power, full of high and low voltage spikes because it's badly made. That unclean power does all kinds of bad stuff to the graphics card, be it the GPU chip or the capacitors on it, or memory modules.

checked video, recorded 30 mins, stopped.

told the kids.  luckily, there were like, 10 parents all with video recordings too.  I just got their recordings, and edit them, and sent them out,

pretty much.  If anything, you can move it slightly closer.  I move my 28" a little closer too, just because.  Its perfectly usuable further away.  But i dont want to wear glasses when i use my pc, so .... =).  But i think a 29" is great for you.  Also, if you plan on getting a small secondary monitor, or use your current one too, there should still be room left on the side, when your monitor is planted in the middle.  and you can have like, accessories on the other side without the 2nd monitor.  Kinda what i do.  Since i also use my macbook on the side.

Yes, and No... Same with CPU's, it makes a difference, but if you compare a 5 year old chip, vs a current chip, even if they run at the same clock speed, (and ignore the extra cores stuff), theres new things in that chip that will make it run faster in general, even without extra cores, or GHz.  As long as the chip isn't too old, its fine.  I think your intel Xeon you picked was 3 years old now?  So it should be fine.

GPU wise, same principal.  but i'd get a current gen GPU if possible.  Unless you plan on getting a GTX Titan, cause it has tech for both gamers, and production stuff, then, new is always better.  Expecially with the gtx 900 series, they've made some interesting advancements that make it worth while, like, fans turn off if its under 60degrees celcius, to make it noiseless.  Uses less power, games pretty damn well too.  Sry, i dont know much about AMD gpu's, as i just like to stick with Nvidia.... but ya.

honestly, i'm not sure how render software works.  I know Xeons, and more cores will blast through it much easier, but i'm not sure the performance difference between the 2 cpu's.

I know for gaming, clockspeeds make the difference.  So the 5820k will work better in gaming.  The Xeon will be worst in general due to the stock clockspeed at 2.3GHz vs the 5820k at 3.6GHz.  Its a pretty big difference of 1.3GHz per core(up to 4 cores-6 cores probably).  Games will not take advantage of the extra cores available, as they were not optimised for that.  I do have a feeling you should get the Xeon, cause getting work done faster is probably a higher priority than gaming slightly better, but as i said, i'm not sure how your render software may work with the 5820k.  Nor have i gamed on a cpu running at that speed.  Hopefully the other guy can bring in more insight, but if not, you'll have to dig around some benchmarks.

You need a keyboard stand, and if possible, get a stand that can support an attachment over it, for you to put a second keyboard, or, your mixer.  Thats the pricey route, so.... a basic keyboard will help for now.  Better than using chairs... you should be able to pick one up for like $20.

For your audio, i couldn't find the exact product, but what you're looking for exact.  you just need to dig around some more, or go to your local music shop, and they may be able to help.  Here is an example one of...
    https://www.amazon.ca/Behringer-Ultra-Compact-4-Channel-Headphone-Amplifier/dp/B000KIPT30/ref=pd_sbs_267_44?ie=UTF8&dpID=51nwD3v6KZL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=6JHMHT2FY8R8Q037B233

Its not RCA, but its a small cheap device, that allows your one input (your pc) expand into multiple inputs.  I use this cause i have headphones, but i dont like using it if i'm going out later as it makes my hair messed up.  So i have my apple earpods, and speakers connected.  Its small, cheap, and handy to have.  I also plugged in 4 different speakers once to create fake surround sound.  I had 2 sets of speakers connected, and a giant performance speaker thing i rented, sounded amazing.

Lastly, i think you need to start thinking vertical space.  Check out photo below.  Ignore the side area, but notice he has a lot of things just in front.  You could easily do something like that too. It'll be some hard work, but something you can build towards.  Space is a luxury many of us can't afford, but we'll have to think creatively to use it as much as we can.

i was in shock...   I quickly googled it, and found out how to disable this.  but you might have closed it, and not noticed this, or didn't open your computer a few days, and missed it, and it already started the upgrade as you turned on your pc.

one thing you can try.... if you have a USB port on your router, you might be able to stick a USB drive into it, and set it up as a network drive, and source your files there.

another thing you could try is Bittorrent Sync., its LIKE google drive, but instead of using their servers to put files on, it uses your local drives.  So, if you save a file on ur PC, the program will know, and make the changes automatically on your MAC.  Why i suggest this, is that its a direct sync from your PC and MAC, unlike google drive, your uploading it to google, and downloading it back.  This goes as fast as your local network speeds can handle.  Just make sure your mac is connected to the same router as your pc, and it should sync at least about 50MB/s.  give or take... depends on your mac probably.  Wifi will be slower.
    https://getsync.com/
I've used it personally for a while, and it was great.  Now i have a NAS,.. so didn't need anymore.  Its free to use, but paying will give you more features.  check it out though at least.
