I've been buying stuff from Massdrop for about 12 months. Lots of the stuff I've bought has been just for shits and giggles, but everything has been priced very well. I've been capitalizing on the things that are priced higher in australia, Zippo lighters, Moleskine Notebooks, etc. But if I didn't already have a home Mech keyboard and a work Mech Keyboard I would get one from here because the range is awesome.

It gets complicated very quickly, but, If you connected to anything hosted by them -> they might have the IP address of your router and possibly the internal IP address you are on behind that router. If your steam account is linked to your facebook -> they have a very good idea of who/where you are. Always remember that Facebook security is full of holes and it's very hard to effectively be private there. If you're computer is not up to date -> they might have uploaded malware to it when you visited their website. Steps I would take: - if you are using a major email provider, turn on 2 factor authentication. this means that whenever you (or someone else) tries to log into your account you will get either an email to another account or an sms to your phone. - check over your facebook security settings and turn them down as far as you feel is safe. - run a secondary anti virus over your machine just to be sure, I like Malware Bytes AntiMalware. It's entirely possible that you're fine and these guys are talking crap, but that's for you to decide.

I'm interested in being connected with the LTT organisation, but I'm not going to have much time to play the game. Will there be something like a "Casual" rank in each of the sub groups? Or possibly have a seperate branch that has a looser affiliation with the LTT organisation? Looking forward to this game coming closer to completion. I'll be in an Aurora.

Totally agree, I have been using Windows 8 for over a year, and 8.1 makes the Surface PRO much more usable. But the battery life sucks! Wait for the Gen 2 part.

hard to say, it was very cool to be at the first PAX in Australia, but it will need another year or 2 to be completely awesome and totally organsied. also, Melbourne is fucking cold in July.

It was really cool, We got hands on time with Saints Row 4, saw some pretty cool Panels: Geek Parenting, and Gamer representation in the media. The Xbox One demo was kinda cool, the improvements to the Kinect sensor are interesting technology developments. I wanted to see the "Inside the borderlands" and "Good Game AmaA" but those queues were full even before I got out of the previous panels. It was still an awesome day. I even saw Jordan from The Axis of Awesome, that was very cool.

My experience with ME3 was that every time I look at the new version of Ashley Williams I contemplate going back to game 1 and killing her off so I don't have to get yanked back to reality. I can't handle how much they changed her character model. You wouldn't think that it would be a big deal... Total game breaker for me.

I'm going to eat my words on this one, I've looked at some reviews and seen that a few people rate it very hghly, it'll 8ms grey to grey in some situations. And last but not least, it's 2560 x 1440 IPS for $440 without even being on sale. So i'm going to wait for a week or so and see if it goes on sale and then buy it anyway. I bought my TV from Kogan, it's nothing flash. but I didn't need any bells or whistles on it. and it was 40 inches at less than $10/inch delivered. WIN

I thought very hard about buying one of the kogan displays today, but I don't think I'm going to. Just too slow. Hopefully they get the feedback and sort it out.

Definitely try for safe mode during boot up, and just because it doesn't show a prompt to hit f8 (or another specific key) to get into safe mode, from there you can try to force a persistent change to the correct res. extra montor is also a good idea. if it doesn't automatically start displaying desktop / start screen and if his laptop boots straight to the start screen he can hit: Windows + P, then up / down then ENTER, this will start using the secondary display to output video. then get to desktop or control panel and change the res back to safe.

Back in the day Kingston HyperX DDR2 ram had inch tall heat dissapation fins on top and I was still able to use it with a Hyper 212+. The Hyper 212+ does have a lot of room below its fins and fans where the heat pipes rise up. I would watch out for the low down coolers like the horizontal ones or the Thermaltake Frio. they look very close to the Chip.

I have a 5 YO lycosa with the rubber texture and the gaming keys have been rubbed to a shiny finish. Poor beast is about to be retired.

I would put the Mass Effect series, borderlands 1 & 2 and far cry 3 on top of my list for the last four years. Then put dawn of war: dark crusade out there for before that.
