    Currently installing fedora on the PC to the right, got a 1u and a 2u under the monitor. Gonna use the PC on the right to make a minecraft server for my brother, 1u is for my dads work and the 2u will be my random crap (music server, backups) and folding.

      I would imagine yes. Even the 290X was only rated for 95C 24/7. This is probably detrimental to the GPU if left like this for extended periods of time.

      You've never played Titanfall? They made all of the audio uncompressed to reduce CPU overhead. The game is fairly CPU intensive already, and this just helped it become a little lighter.

    yeah, I have an ASUS 270 with the DCUII cooler. Which means the vram and power deliver systems are on the completely wrong side.

    Trust me, I considered that. I emailed NZXT and they said that it won't be compatable at all.

    Yeah, this happened to my hand when I accidentally touched my hand against my fan grill. I'm gonna clean out the dust when I get the GPU working.

    Lets see, why didn't it work? Main problem, the GPU core is a little recessed under the metal shroud area thing around it, meaning that the cooler isn't making proper contact on the core. There are 2 ways to fix this, either fill that area up with thermal paste (Spoiler, I'm going to do that) or put a copper plate/shim there to fill up the gap (Which I'm not doing). I will purchase some thermal paste later and post an update! Currently, the stock DCUII cooler is on so that I can still use my PC. I'll update ASAP EDIT: Just pointing out because im getting questions about it "I will have 3 fans pointed at it. I tested it using a laser thermometer and the VRM doesn't get too hot.     So, I wanted to lower my temps and obviously the best way to do that is watercooling! Problem is, a full custom watercooling loop (GPU and CPU) is expensive as hell, what did I do? Ghetto rig it! This entire project was done for under $100 Each cooler (Deepcool Maelstrom 120K) was $40. Lets get going! Parts! Here's the PC before the upgrade CPU Cooler off CPU Block on CPU cooler fully installed GPU Surgery time! I didn't take photos of the GPU cooler installation since I needed both hands. but here it is installed! Everything installed! But... We aren't done! I'll explain in the next post!
