Classic marketing scheme you really need to see price trends to know the true retail price
or just find the msrp from the og manufacturers site

Seeing all these new 2 wheel hoverboard things and electric longboards that are becoming popular now a days, what are some other "Portable transportation" devices that not many people know about? (electric obviously)

I can take the grill off of the radiator if you like to show how the HDD mounts to the grill.
ahh, I get the idea. Honestly its probably not what I'll end up doing because of cosmetic reasons. thanks for the photo!

buy some 120mm fan grills and mount the HDD to them using standard PC screws, and then mount the grill to the fan. Thats what I did.
That sounds interesting, Pictures?
-
But you said you have no room to put them.
I'd atleast like to keep the internal Sata connection for speeds
-
use your 5.25 inch bays as hard drive bays. they sell adapters
Damn, I completely forgot about that. I might have to do that if I can figure out a good way to get some cables up there cleanly...
-
External?
I'd like to keep it internal

I have no more space for drives, my case has 4 3.5" drive bays and I have 5 drives in total (4 HDD's and 1 SSD) so I literally have the SSD on top of the drive cage just sitting there. Aaaaannnd all my drives are full, I have a 2tb that I want to put in but no idea where I can safely put it, ideas? Cheap or free would be best.

I'm starting a kickstarter soon and am currently working through the planning stages. I just started working on the project page itself and was looking for some feedback since im about half-way through.
A few things before you start reading
- I have no graphics yet, things in the square brackets are where there will be photos/graphics
- I will be updating it as people are viewing, so if you refresh there may be something new
- The shipping dates on the rewards are placeholders, they will be changed when I start the campaign to something appropriate
Leave feedback here or on the page itself, thanks guys!

So my G27 is stuck at 200Degrees rotation no matter what I try to change it to 900/780. I tried making profiles in logitech profile, checking windows drivers settings and changing it in game but its still only 200degrees. Help? Heres a video:
(video was just uploaded so its processing) -
I'm looking for a new GPU, preferably under $200 (+/- $10 if needed) including shipping .etc. Shopping in Canada.
Mainly want to play games like Assetto Corsa and GTAV on high 1080p at playable, my r9 270 gets 60fps on Assetto Corsa maxed out (single car race).
the 270 is starting to shit the bed and since I took it apart they won't give me a refund or RMA, which is why I need a new one. any suggestions? or should I just get another 270? I kind of want to go towards GTX since I have never had a Nvidia card and Shadowplay looks interesting...

Steam link is coming out soon, I know you are looking to do it now, but you can at least look forward to it. Will give you exactly what you need.
The USB is the thing, I don't know if somehting like that would work over streaming on a set top box. I assume certain drivers need to be present for that sort of thing. In that case a cheap HTPC might be better.
Examples of streaming boxes are things lik a roku or shield.
Get a better processor if you're gonna do Steam streaming, that Pentium D probably won't be up to the task.
I feel like the cheapest way would be to just take the pc up and down. Thanks for the suggestions!

If you have ethernet, you could stream over ethernet with a set top box by the TV.
What kind of set top box? and what about the USB?

I am setting up a racing simulator in my basement in front of my 60" TV, but my PC is in my room 2 floors up. What would be the cheapest and best way to get the game on my TV and the input from the wheel to my PC? Could I setup a cheap PC from parts lying around (like a Pentium D and a AMD 5000 Series GPU) and use it for steam in home streaming? Does it even support having controllers?
Or should I just run a HDMI cable all the way down? (I already have Ethernet cables running from the basement to the top floor)
Maybe HDMI over Ethernet? But I have no idea how to get the USB up there.

Try right click then open as admin?

minus the rads because those block a lot of the air
I'll make one with a metal frame if someone pays for the fans. Then give it away

UPDATE: Ran out of Zip ties, ordered new ones online. They should be here tomorrow, hopefully will be done the project then!

yeah, I have an ASUS 270 with the DCUII cooler. Which means the vram and power deliver systems are on the completely wrong side.Really? Is it a nonreference pcb? Cause the g10 supports the 270,or at least that's what their comp list says.
-
UPDATE: Thermal paste acquired!
-
You totally could have just gotten a Kraken G10 mount for your gpu mate.
The 270 is compatible w/ it, though, not sure it would have made a difference about the core being slightly recessed.
Trust me, I considered that. I emailed NZXT and they said that it won't be compatable at all.

but... but the V-RAM... what about the V-RAM... its not covered by that i dont think
"I will have 3 fans pointed at it. I tested it using a laser thermometer and the VRM doesn't get too hot. (max 60C)"
