      I haven't been here, that's for sure.

  5. If you like more practical things, Cooler Master and that Ducky have just the things for you. If you like what Corsair's got, get that. It always comes down to preference when you have two good brands like this.
  6. My dad gave me his Alienware laptop (750M, 4700HQ, 768p display), so now I can play actual games with you guys!

  7. how does gaming even work wtf But here, OP, I'll give you a less extreme challenge (if you can even call it that) Revise my $800 build, I do not need peripherals. The case MUST stay the same. I am buying locally and prices must stay under $800 BEFORE MIR AND COMBO DISCOUNTS Purpose: Gaming, heavy music production, photo editing in Photoshop PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor ($132.98 @ SuperBiiz) CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($74.99 @ NCIX US) Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($82.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($53.67 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI Radeon R9 280 3GB TWIN FROZR Video Card ($190.91 @ Newegg) Case: Corsair SPEC-03 Red ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($34.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $735.48 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2014-11-15 19:11 EST-0500
  8. if someone needs help they're gonna post a topic here in this forum and wait for several opinions from forum vets just saying
  9. No mobo is overkill unless you need absolutely nothing. Though the SOC Force or something from Gigabyte was pretty extreme, yeah.
  10. You only need like 500W for the PSU but it's pretty good, go with it.
  11. great for the price it plays games it's quiet and has low tdp overall pretty good buy one if you can
  12. To be honest, I would never switch full time to PC, and be varied between console and PC. Sure, PC is best for most things, but muh exclusives (Sunset Overdrive looks amazing). But here, some reasons to switch: muh graphics muh fps Better competitive communities and clans Volvo games (valve)
  13. Might as well get the ROG Swift, especially if you play FPS games. 3 monitors for FPS is quite jarring.
