  1. pretty neat projector for who has small room on their house (me either )
  2. just using some cheap rubber dome keyboard, wants to upgrade but have no money left. fml
  3. i think i just buy the 16:9 1080p for now and wait for 21:9 monitor price down and better game support. thanks for the advice
  4. medium setting are fine. but not a must. as long as the fps are still runs high  i'd like to see more performance on my game (more framerates) rather than the looks. but sometimes i'd like the view too. size doesn't really matter for me but it's nice to have monitor that bigger than my previous one (17.3") yeah, 25" 21:9 is actually shorter than 21.5" 16:9 monitor by centimeters. i'll take your advice for now. thanks also about the performance, i kinda doubt my gpu will works extra hard to run this resolution (2.7 megapixels on 21:9 1080p compared to ~2 megapixels on 16:9 1080p )
  5. My old 17.3" 1440x900p display was dead weeks ago and i'm currently have a plan to buy a monitor. I have 2 options right now. Acer G227HQL 21,5" 1080p (1920x1080) monitor for $114 and LG 25UM57 ultrawide 1080p (2560x1080) for $201. Since i'm often watching Youtube and playing game, what monitor should i choose? i know that 16:9 content will look about 20-ish inch on 25UM57. but is it looks really really bad with that black bar? (i haven't seen 21:9 monitor before). also i have R9 270X on my setup right now, i wonder if my GPU can handle that resolution. thanks
  6. it's still work just fine, but i still doubt to play AAA game smoothly on 1440p. maybe change resolution to 2560x1080 or lowering the detail will works
  7. even my 5" phone have 1080p display on it lol  . I don't mind to play game on low res (at least for now). I tried play Fallout4 on my Intel HD4600 (720p on very very low settings), and i cry due 15 fps already on my list right now (HIS R9 380 4GB IceQ). is HIS any good other than another brand like ASUS or Sapphire?
  8. actually i have a plan to switch to higher 21:9 monitor (2560x1080) but maybe another time since i'm still enjoy using 900p monitor and 720p monitor for the secondary ones. but thanks for the tips Lets see the price of the 380X yet, if it's expensive here so i'll stick with 380 and OC it. thanks
  9. R9 380X isn't here yet. Maybe i'll wait for another week for the 380X reaches here. Is it any huge performance gap between 380 and 380X?
  10. the cheapest R9 380 4GB that i cand find is around USD 220 (HIS IceQ). yes, quite expensive in here yeah, played with my old 7870 still get around 30-ish fps, even overclocked to 1250MHz (hairworks disabled). thanks for the hug btw  i used some air conditioner here so i got around 20'c ish ambient temp. so heat output isn't a big deal for me now. And yes, without AC it's get around 32'C pretty easily
  11. So... since my Sapphire HD7870 died days ago, i manage to switch back to Intel HD4600 and do the research for my next GPU. My options are 2 right now, Zotac 750Ti 2GB Non OC (IDR 1579000 ~USD 114) and Zotac 970 Non AMP or Core Edition (IDR 4527000 ~USD 327) Since i have limited budget right now, do i just buy a 750Ti right now or save more money to 970 which has more than 2 times the performance of the 750Ti for another months? i played with 1440x900 monitor and my CPU is 4690 non K (which is fine for both GPU's). Any recommendations or maybe another best GPU other than these two? Thanks
  12. after wash it with water and brush it with toothbrush (yes, water. electronic's best enemy), dry it for 2 days on side of exhaust fan, and try install a 13.1 amd catalyst, now works smoothly. i tried kombustor and it's just fine. i'll update after trying to update the driver to 15.7. Update: it crashed again after 5 hours of gaming. looks like pretty much a hardware failure.
  13. the GPU has only one BIOS, maybe a BIOS update can solve the problem?
  14. So i own Saphire HD7870 since almost 3 years ago. Everything is run smoothly until one day when playing Cities:Skyline, the game crashed and leaves some artifacts. I tried restart the windows, and it stuck on blackscreen after windows booting. Reinstalling drivers and windows, and still no luck. Screen goes black after installing the driver. Since this card is no longer under warranty, any idea how to fix this? thanks
  15. 970 is still worth to buy now. Pascal still very far away due very little information of it.
