  1. That's right, we aren't obligated to replace it. That would have been up to Performance, but they were out of stock. I didn't word that clearly enough. We were under no obligation to replace this for you since it wasn't purchased directly from us. I think you misunderstood me. I was talking about the bent fins. I didn't mention anything about pins or the SATA connector when you first called because your first call was just about rust on the radiator and some bent fins. The picture of the SATA connector that you sent me only showed that one of the plastic guards on the side was broken. This wouldn't cause any issues with the functioning of the connector. Also, copper doesn't rust. The "rust" that you saw was simply from the fact that the paint didn't completely cover the copper core of the radiator. This is actually ideal because paint can act as an insulator and reduce the radiator's ability to dissipate heat.
  2. What's a known issue? We've sold thousands of these kits so far and think that there have been two similar incidents where the SATA power connector was broken right out of the box.
  3. Where did I say that the packaging caused his bent fins? Bent fins on a radiator of this kind is very common. I've bought many radiators over the years from multiple companies. I've never received one that didn't have a few bent fins. It's also very easy to bend them back into place though.
  4. As stated by others, we did offer to repair this customer's kit. This is what is required by our warranty. A replacement wasn't possible though simply because these are completely out of stock right now. The dusty appearance is due to the environmentally friendly packaging that we use and the tubing is rubber rather being flexible PVC tubing that can plasticize. Bent fins are common simply due to the thin copper that's used to allow for maximum air flow. I hope this clarifies our position and I am one of the few reps that's available after hours and on weekends to help customers.
  5. I'm sorry, we have no plans to release such a kit due to the placement of the pump and reservoir. It would cause too many compatibility issues due to the loss of the optical bays. We don't have any plans for an H120X, but we are considering releasing an H140X in about 3 weeks to a month. Our naming scheme is a little different. The first number tells you the number of fans and the second tells you the size of the fans. It's actually a simple way to understand what fans you need and how many for the radiator you purchase. Also, a 360 radiator isn't actually 360mm long and that's a bit misleading for those that are just getting into water cooling. Yes, this kit is 2011 socket compatible and thus it's also compatible with the latest 99X socket.
  6. We're taking care of you and please let me know if you have any issues or complaints with regards to our RMA process or customer support.
  7. No, it can't be. These new pumps aren't based on the Laing DDC design. These are our own in-house designed pumps and they aren't compatible with tops or reservoirs specifically designed for the Laing DDC. The only exception that I'm aware of to this is our own MCP35X reservoir. I hope this answers your question.
  8. I'm the customer support, RMA support and tech rep for those that have any questions. Phelan is correct. This kit was designed in collaboration with Cooler Master and Swiftech so that US customers could have an H220 kit made available to them again. Please let me know if you have any questions because I'm quite familiar with both kits.
  9. Aside from the video resolution what issues did you have with the video?
  10. You can use the video that Gabe and I did on how to add a water cooled graphics card to the H220 as a guide. Just go to the Swiftech website and look at the videos on the H220 product page. They should be under the support page. Let me know if this helps you.
