  1. So currently got a R5 1600 with stock cooler looking to upgrade, budget around £50. Currently on sale on amazon is 212 rgb black edition for £37. Or Standard 212 black edition for £30. Is the RGB edition worth the extra £7 pounds. Also what's the deal with fans i read somewhere that the normal black edition has a FP120 fan which is better than the SF120R fan found on the RGB edition? So options are the above two, my thought was maybe get the cheaper one and spend a tenner on another fan for push pull on the standard rgb black edition and that would out perform the RGB edition. PS, not bothered about the RGB/LEDs anyway. Or other cpu cooling options that would beat the 212 for under £50, which I believe is nothing much out there really.
  2. Yep im sure, because my problem is accessing them when on the VPN / from locally. I can access fine when off VPN and routing over internet. route from a client goes client -> openvpn server gateway -> pfsense gateway -> ovh gateway -> ?? Then after getting to the gateway it doesn't really do anything or go anywhere, im guessing this is because the ip routes out of gateway then tries to route back in, where as i need it to essentially route from pfsense straight to the proxmox ip, if that makes sense.
  3. 145.xxx.xxx.xxx is the ip of my proxmox/the main dedicated machine so yes i own it. Yeh the 192.168.1.0/24 is under a NAT. I think its something to do with the traffic essentially trying to route back to itself but i'm not 100% sure. static routers? The static route from pfsense is just everything local to the gateway.
  4. Hi i have an dedicated ovh box running proxmox this has an ip of 145.xxx.xxx.xxx/24. I have a OpenVPN setup and pfSense setup. All traffic / servers go through pfsense. OpenVPN gives clients a 10.8.0.0/24 ip pfSense and LAN network is using 192.168.1.0/24 From pfSense on the WAN adapter i can ping the proxmox address but not from a virtual machine. The problem i'm having is i can't access the 145 address when on the VPN/locally from within the server. For that i have to disconnect the VPN why would this be and how do i solve it? I can draw a network diagram if it helps. Thanks.
  5. Hi i have setup VestaCP that uses BIND on my Server. All seems to be ok apart from who can resolve my domain. Cloudflare seems to be the only DNS provider that can resolve my domain? Any ideas? Thanks, Luke.
  6. VESTACP offers a dns service, BIND (named) service, so once you configure the info it just configures it with BIND. The weird thing is my website works fine when using cloudflare dns but no other dns works.
  7. Hi i'm trying to configure my domain to point to custom nameservers that are being hosted by VestaCP. The domain i have is lukedyte.me and i'm trying to have the nameservers be ns1.lukedyte.me and ns2.lukedyte.me According to intodns.com the nameservers are not responding. VestaCP is running on a CentOS VM that has no firewalld service running. port53 is open and so dns requests should be able to reach it. I've waited over 48 hours for it to propagate, its probably been about 4 days now. Some servers can resolve the domain and find it's name servers and some can't. My domain is working fine when using cloudflare dns but is not working with other providers which i find especially strange. I have the ns1. and ns2. records all pointing to an A record. Any ideas? Thanks, Luke.
  8. I haven't no, but it is possible, got it at 2133mhz stable now so should be fine.
  9. Maybe, just tried doing a bios update as newest bios included memory compatibility but still no difference. Boots at 3000mhz but just get random and different blue screen errors each time it tries to boot such as 0xc0000(421)/(224).
  10. Yeah definitely in the correct slots. I can using xmp and a choose 3000mhz option, computer doesn't blue screen but I get various other windows errors about files one I can remember was missing file FACEIT.SYS
  11. Tried re seating ram, and reset bios and disabled xmp. Can only get it to run 2133mhz dual channel, no higher. Each stick works fine on its own at 3000mhz. And each stick works fine in both dimms on its own.
  12. Hi i recently help a friend build a computer, all works fine but memory is stuck at 800mhz, initially after building the computer the ram was running at 1600mhz. After rebooting the ram lowered its self to 800mhz, if we try to change it to the 3000mhz xmp profile the computer blue screens and crashes. We have also change various frequencies such as 1866mhz and 2666mhz also 2933mhz all result in a blue screen or crash and the computer eventually reverting itself back to the auto option which makes it run at 800mhz. Specs are as follows: CPU: Intel i5-9600k RAM: 2x8gb ddr4 3000mhz corsair vengeance lpx. Motherboard: MSI MAG Z390 TOMAHAWK PSU: Corsair tx650m. Graphics card: gtx 1070. Running windows 10. Any ideas is much appreciated as i am clueless on this one, only thing i can think it might be is possible bent pins on motherboard.
  13. Hi, i have a OnePlus 3T and a Sony MEX-N6001BD. I was just wondering what is the best app for playback compatibility with this radio (or a car bluetooth radio). I would like the app to support the feature of being able to see what tracks player (this hasn't worked with any music app i've tried yet) as well as being able to press the browse button on the radio to switch between playlists that are created on the music app. Music apps i've tried so far are Google Play Music and AIMP. Google Play Music works fine for everything apart from the ability to be able to create playlists based of off a folder location. I sync a folder location on my phone with the music on my pc which are sorted into playlists by folders. So i need a music app that: Has playlists based of off folder/folder locations. Supports bluetooth feature track playing information Supports browsing to another playlist from the radio controls. Give me the music player apps you use and i will give them a go since most of you probably have no way of knowing what apps are going to work in this situation. Not sure this is the best place since its car/phone/android/app related. So i just put it here. Many thanks, Luke.
  14. Or give error codes/have a diagnostic display? Maybe specs and a motherboard name might help us fix your problem.
