  1. Username- farncir Favourite videos would be: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JYZEYDYx0 and https://www.vessel.com/videos/MI7F0u2H8 both super informative and both super fun
  2. So i've recently discovered i'm maxing out my memory for a variety of reasons and I sorta want to get more ram but i'm not sure if it would be better to get another 8gb kit (2x4gb) or fork out a large amount of money and get a straight 16gb kit (2x8gb) I was wondering if there is any drawbacks to adding another kit ontop and filling all my ram lanes ? any advice would be great, thanks in advance, francis
  3. Best feature would be the brushed metal uni body design yes i clicked the htc link ;D And the awesome brushed gun metal colour. AMAZING! thanks for the comp and good luck to all !
  4. If you put white LED's in the raystorm block and tidy up the pcie power cables (it looks abit odd with that curve) and the 24 pin (just a little) then it would be a hands down 20/20 build being picky I know, but seems like you went all out (seen by the extra "unnecessary" bend with the rigid tubing from the cpu block to gpu) might as well go all the way and create PERFECTION ! I dunno, highlighting the cpu block would look nice imo, it seems abit dark shadowed by the 240mm rad up top
  5. i don't know the price difference in your country, but in australia its about $30 more expensive than a 4770, i mean the boost clocks are the same, if your computer went under more load, it'll go up to the same 3.9ghz.. with that $30, you could go get a hyper 212 evo
  6. A nice 650w power supply is generally the answer whenever someone ask how much power they need Also the 4771? your paying that little extra for a 100mhz base clock boost from a 4770? why bother?
  7. go for a thicker radiator up top, RX series perhaps, if you can 1 should be a straight unless the photon is in a higher position so should 2 should be straight 4 should be a 90 degree to create a curve up towards number 5 6 should be a 90 or you'll come into problems when connecting to 7, would be very difficult all in all, it is very difficult to imagine 3d curves when you have a 2d image to reference, i suggest creating a 3d model, perhaps on google sketchup, layout all the components, don't have to be precise, just average dimensions. it'll create a more easy task of seleecting fittings. you don't want to run into buying the wrong fittings or too little or too many fittings as they are not cheap thats the best advice i can give you
  8. thats a nice set of piping heads. i assumed them to help fill the loop? The noctua fans are abit out of place other than that pretty solid build, nice cables and an awesome sonar stx, gotta love a quality sound card!
  9. How did you bend the acrylic pieces? did you need a special tool? to get it nice and even so that it fits into each other is amazing Looks awesome though, the minimalistic feel to it tickles my fancy Great job man!
  10. ROG STICKER ISN'T STRAIGHT!! Interesting choice of positioning for the radiator, looks nice
  11. The red ram annoys me ocd...whyyyyyyy its too out of place =/ other than that awesome build, wouldn't mind me a matrix 280x
  12. I like EA's visual game library, love the look of the giant pictures and when you have a few games, it's a nice feeling to browse through! steam has cheaper games though (y)
