Hey manuel ticzon,   When you put the installation disk, you will have the option to choose on which drive to install the new OS. The installation process will format the drive for you.   Captain_WD.

If you aren't overclocking, then you're fine with the stock cooler. It won't overheat.
But getting an aftermarket cooler will allow you to run it cooler and overclocked.

Stock cooler and stock settings with Prime95 is asking for trouble. This has already been pretty much covered but I'd like to input some more. First saying that 70C with stock cooler under stress test is quite cool. 80C is bit hot but still way under warning limits.

Stock settings with P95 = Overvolting danger and damage to CPU, overheating and autoshutdowns.
Stock cooler on any stress test = Overheating and autoshutdowns.

I don't see a problem running some games, just don't stop checking your temperatures, play for 5 minutes and check them, play for another 10 and check. You know what I mean.

Sitting here typing on a Lenovo Y50. Watch pricing on it too, because it is way more worth it than the Y510p. It stays very cool while doing light tasks, the fan isn't loud at all, and the thinness and lightness of it make it a much more pleasing experience in my opinion. Besides, if you get a Y50, you wouldn't have to deal with micro stuttering and random artifacts from the sli.

Go for it but keep an eye if the y50 is already available in your country because that would be totaly worth it.
Also look for the sli version of the y510P (dual graphics)
