Traytor's Achievements

  1. It's up to you how loud they will get. Pretty much any 360 AIO from a "reputable" brand can be quiet, if you set them on a quiet preset, or a custom fan curve with good case airflow. I have the H150i RGB Elite and it can get pretty loud, if you set it on full blast all the time.
  2. It can happen, they bug out from time to time. From the time I've spent with my pair(got them at launch), the volume is not the biggest hit on battery, the microphones are. Dont overthink it, if you get 4h+ with ANC before they warn you about low battery you are fine.
  3. I really feel bad about Madison, if what she says is true. On the other hand… Timing and the fact that she pulled the “I am afraid because I am a woman” are tripping my sceptic alert. I don’t know there are too many things that have to be addressed at this point and on the production side, the video promises that they will do better. As it stands right now, I will do what Linus and Luke have been advising for years and vote with my wallet, Floatplane subscription is gone and I guess I can find other ways to entertain myself for 15-20 minutes a day instead of watching LTT content… Funny, never thought I would have to boycott LTT for reasons resembling Blizzard
  4. This is not the greatest or newest, but it is a great performer and it doesn’t break the bank. Asus vg27aq1a at 650BGN for a 27” IPS 170Hz and apart from my own opinion which might be screwed, the reviews were all great.
  5. I said that corsair over 5600 is more difficult to get with expo, not ram over 5600 in general
  6. The SKU is the product number. Should be on the stickers of the sticks. Usually is a long alpha-numerical string.(not the serial number)
  7. Yeah, getting Corsair memory over 5600 in Bulgaria is kinda hard. So go with G.Skill, otherwise the list looks good. I am not a fan of the case, fans and cooler, but as was said before me, that is a personal preference.
  8. Instead of device instance path, have you checked the Hardware Ids from the drop down menu? A copy/paste of the hardware id into google very often helps in getting the driver you need.
  9. You can always run memtest with them installed. Also, check if the SKU is the same. I've had issues on my partner's PC, with my 2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance 3200Mt/s it ran fine with XMP enabled, with her 2 sticks of Corsair Vengeance with the same capacity and 3200Mt/s it kept crashing with XMP on. Turned out I got her RAM optimized for AMD expo. So check the SKUs and go from there. Once you have the SKUs of the new RAM, go to the MSI website... Here is the direct link(Z590 QVL ) and check if the ram you got was tested with that mobo. Also, if you havent already, update your BIOS to the latest version, because if the memory you bought is different, they might have improved compatibility with it.
  10. Thanks to everyone for the replies, but it seems that I am way too set in my ways I was already pretty much set on the 13700k, but when my old employer gave me the employee discount for the intel and a Z790 board things got real easy. All in all, I am now an owner of a 13700k, MSI MAG Tomahawk z790 wifi and Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB 7200Mt/s CL34.
  11. I went over every single retailer's website and AMD here a lot pricier, so I am sticking to the 13700k, it is better all purpose use CPU anyways, which aint such a bad thing. But I am really not sure what to do regarding the motherboard. Staying on DDR4 is doable, but it locks me at 16gigs. I found this kit Corsair Vengeance OC PMIC STD PMIC XMP 3.0 Black Heatspreader 32GB (2x16GB), DDR5, 7200MT/s, CL 34, RGB for about $150 should be fine? And with the CPU at $415 I think I will be even underbudget... but the issue stands with the mobo.
  12. Has the 7800x3d issue("exploding") been resolved? It's one of the reasons I went a bit away from it(and the $100 difference compared to the 13700k). As for the mobo, not too much, would like decent I/O, ALC 1200, wifi and I guess that's it.
  13. I want to move to DDR5, otherwise mine would work and as I said, in Bulgaria 5800x3D cant be found brand new and in recent years the used market is a bit shady, sellers either try to scew you or the asking price is almost the same as brand new. Something I should have mentioned, the budget is a nice to hit, but still can be adjusted a bit.
  14. Budget (including currency): $1200 Country: Bulgaria Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Variety of games, WoW, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider, It takes two and many more(all games are being played on 1440p 280Hz monitor with the exception of It takes two, which is played on a 4k 60Hz). From time to time I have to export 4k video through Sony Vegas. Other details I will be sticking with my 3070 Aorus for now, keeping the Corsair 5000D, Corsair H150i elite, the Seasonic SSR 1000FX GOLD and my 2 Samsung SSDs(980 pro 1tb and 970 Evo Plus). Hello guys, After 5 years its time for a platform change, as the 8700K is finally impacting me after getting a HFR display and for a year the z370 has been limiting the performance of my boot SSD. PC of Theseus really describes my system, I haven't bought a full system since 2010, I always upgrade in different chunks. I know that Intel's new platform is just around the corner, but it will come with a price premium as usual and I am more than happy to go with 13th gen, so far I've narrowed it down to 13700k, but in regards to a mobo and memory I am kinda lost(I prefer corsair memory, as I've used vengeance memory for 13 years and it's been good to me and so I will stick to the brand). Any suggestions for a board and memory? AMD suggestions are welcome, I've just been using Intel since the E9300 and I still cant figure out their stack(I was thinking of a 5800x3d but I would have to get it used, so not so keen on it) Edit: budget is a nice to hit, but still can be adjusted a bit.
  15. Thanks guys! One more thing, if I don’t care about the wii u game pad, is it worth it to get a wii u over a classic wii?
