  1. Thank you for the recommendations! I'll look into it.
  2. Thanks for the recommendation!
  3. I've googled a lot about the overheating issue and see a lot of these replies, but also a lot saying the new stock coolers are just bad. I agree that it shouldn't be hitting 95°, but at the same time I don't really know what else could be so wrong. I've made sure it's sitting well on the CPU and such. It's idle is around 40-50°, also pretty toasty. Thanks for the recommendation!
  4. Hey guys! My Ryzen 5 3600 has been getting pretty hot over the last month. I just built the computer a month ago and usually don't play crazy demanding games, but when I do the CPU gets up to 95°C with the stock cooler. My plan will be to buy a new CPU cooler. The question for me is: Which? I want to make sure it'll fit with my mobo and case. My case is a Antec NX300 and the Mobo is a Gigabyte B450M Gaming. The issue I see coming is that my mobo only has 2 RAM slots, which makes it a pretty tight fit considering I can't slide over the RAM to make more space. Any ideas of a cooler I should get that will fit in my build? I'm ok with air or water, but I would prefer air to keep it a little cheaper for myself. Thanks!
  5. That would be a bummer. I have tried using them in both slots and it works fine. Do you think I could increase voltage or so to get them power?
  6. I kept XMP disabled so as far as I can see 2133.
  7. So after posting a few times about crashing issues I found the problem: When I have one stick of RAM plugged in to my motherboard it runs perfectly fine. When I plug both in to get 16GB of RAM...Windows won't even start. I get a blue screen pretty much immediately. I have no idea what the issue is. Never ran into anything like this before. I'm using a Gigabyte B450M Gaming. Any ideas of what I can change in the BIOS maybe to fix it? I should also add that I've plugged in both sticks individually and had no problems. Also tried to change the positions of the sticks...still crashes when both are in. When one is in, it doesn't matter. Thanks guys!
  8. I don't have any slot for CDs on my PC
  9. Thanks guys! I'll give this a try. And also my error codes have been multiple different things. I can remember two: IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL UNEXPECTED KERNEL MODE TRAP
  10. Hello again! I posted yesterday asking about how I was going to install Windows 10 on to my newly built PC. Now I am in that process and experiencing issues. I am using a USB and I created the boot using the Creation Tool. I have plugged in my USB to my PC and tried to boot from both of the showing connections (I have a "Sandisk, Partition 1" and a "Sandisk"). I also have my SSD that shows but of course with no OS on it. Upon booting from the USB, I've run into a number of different errors and crashes (these are all Windows errors). I have, however, one single time gotten to the point where I can select the language and keyboard for Windows before install. I got there, got excited for about 5 seconds, then it crashed again with an error. Any ideas what could be going on here? Thank you all for the help!
  11. Thanks a ton you've been a huge help! I'll do this then.
  12. So replying to both of you kind of here: I will most likely just download the MCT and use my USB drive then. In this case, I don't need to do any flashing correct? I can just select to bootable drive and put it on the USB. After that I will be able to install Windows, but unactivated of course. After this I can just buy a key then? Can I just buy the key from the Microsoft Website or how do they handle that? Do I just get a key provided to me then upon purchase in the store? Thanks again so much.
  13. It could be an issue with the USB or with the wires connecting the headset to the PC. I have the Hyperx Cloud II and am currently having a similar problem with popping noises and random microphone cut-outs. I think it's just getting old and the wires have been in a tangled mess for too long. I'll probably have to end up getting a new one at this point.
  14. I'm a little confused as to what you mean by this. My PC is new and currently has no operating system installed, I need to get Windows on it now. Sorry for the confusion. Maybe I'm understanding what you're saying wrong. Can you explain a little bit?
  15. Hey guys! So I just built my new PC and of course need to get Windows now. I want to boot from a USB drive and was wondering if I can just buy Windows 10 from the Microsoft website and click the "Download" version. Would this basically just install the media creation tool with a key? From there I can just plug in the USB and download it to that and boot my new PC from the USB. If this sounds bad to you, do you have any other recommendations? Thank you for all your help!
