    well you mentioning it being quiet while being a great preformer tickles my fancy since all the cars i lay lay my hands on sound like chubbaca heavily breathing , so i'd love to win it !

    First check the date . Then refresh your os and if all doesnt work preform a clean install

    i would suggest taking it to a shop so you wont regret your doings if you failed .thats pretty true and also cleaning the fan and heatsink would be a good idea !

    try changing power supply , or try the g skill on your pc and see if they are the faulty ones

    it may be the fault in the hard drive not quite sure

    looks like throttling , try cleaning it from dust then change your thermal paste , does the pc suddenly turn off after some time of using it ?

    clean it up rom dust and clean ram sticks and slots at the shop i work for its 3/4 the problem

    make sure you have bf4 latest patch , latest drivers , also its preferable to use windows 8.1 and run the game as administrator

    is there a new app that you have istalled that requires notifications or something ? also check how much storage space you may have left and clean the unnecessary sometimes just to calculate it stops everything

    upgrading the mobo + cpu now will be better than gpu (not more fps but to get the max out of the gpu )

    try with another pc or phone also if it still wont work factory reset your router or go to your isp
