  1. This would be perfect for a bedroom set-up for me, the ceiling in my master bedroom is angled, and it just so happens to be angled perfectly for head-on viewing from a lying position!
  2. That's unfortunate, I don't think it's likely that will be anytime soon, the software was already dated to begin with. It's strange because the FiiO E10K is a pretty popular budget amp, you'd think as a company you'd want your software to be on point. I guess since windows just installs a generic driver, people don't really care about it :\
  3. After moving to windows 10 I can't seem to get the drivers/software to work, I know you don't really need it for the device to function, but I do like using it. I'm curious to see if anyone else is having issues with this software on Windows 10.
  4. http://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/3auo4m/titan_x_fury_x_comparison_results_4k_shadow_of/ This guy compares Fury X and Titan X at stock speeds, and then has Titan X OCed, he might add Fury X OCs eventually. Not sure if he's doing this himself, or if he's pulling these from elsewhere. EDIT: NVM, he obviously just took the screen from the previous SoM bench and posted it with his Titan X benchmark.
  5. I've never owned a laptop so the thing I would have to say the thing that has to be my favorite is the build quality, that aluminum looks very nice.
  6. Yeah, I understand everyone's mileage may vary, I was simply looking for a little more information to use as a starting point. I'm still unfamiliar with this chipset so I don't want to go too HAM and fry it. Currently I'm running Prime95, multiplier at 44 with vcore of 1.35. 2 passes and the highest temp so far is 77 degrees celcius. Another thing I don't know much about is how this chip handles heat, I generally don't worry about CPU temps until they get into the mid 80's, but for all I know I could be frying this chip right now Which shows my point, I have little information, and I came here to get more.
  7. Yeah, I've read a lot of information on how the NH-D14 can achieve comparable performance to those H100i's and similar coolers. My issue is that there isn't a whole lot of information out there on what voltages people are using to achieve certain clock speeds, which is why I was looking into the spreadsheet here on this great forum. I'm going to take some information I've gathered and play around with things to see what I can do. What's the general consensus on stress testing software? I've been using OCCT but I don't see it mentioned much around here.
  8. Great, I'm using the same cooler, there's little information online about this chip so I'm trying to be careful about how much I push things. I'll see what I can do with this information and report back. Yeah, I've played CS:GO, Watch_dogs (only to check out the recent mod, game's garbage), The Witcher 2, Arkham Origins. All without issue.
  9. I just so happen to be someone he's never met too. I'm disappointed if i'm being honest. I thought if there was one place I'd be able to get some help on this it'd be here.
  10. Fair enough, does this mean I'm unlikely to find someone in here who will be able to share information about this chip?
  11. Hey guys, new here, I've been a big linus fan for a long time, though. I was looking at the overclock spreadsheet and noticed there isn't a whole lot of love in there for the 4930K! I think I saw 2 entries in there, but both were water cooled solutions. I was hoping that someone in here has some experience with overclocking it on air, Currently I'm running it at 4.2Ghz with a voltage of 1.2, I ran OCCT for about 30 minutes and had no issues, it even stayed below 60Degrees celcius. However I was playing TF2 today because of the recent announcement and noticed the game would randomly lock up, forcing me to Alt+tab and end the process. This is strange because it hasn't happened while playing any other games, however as soon as I lowered my clock speeds to 4Ghz the random lock ups stopped completley. So basically, I'm curious to see what other people are doing with their 4930Ks on air, am I under volting a 4.2 OC with 1.2?
