  1. Recently did a case + fans + cable swap out: Doing a cooling upgrade next. Planning on doing a full brass tube loop the end of the month.
  2. Oh okay. I didn't know if that would make a difference or not but I'll give it a try, thanks! I have plans for the end of the month to do a brass tubing watercool loop so I will be replacing that cooler. Also because of the high profile of that cooler I can't actually put the side panel back on haha.
  3. Did that so it wouldn't be fighting with the 3 Corsair fans. Those fans are pulling air towards them (exhausting out the side of the case) so I didn't want the CPU fan pull air the other way. I don't know if it would make a huge difference over all. I had a few friends recommend I do that. EDIT: It wasn't pulling in my old case since I had fans on the front of the case pulling air in.
  4. Went through a few aesthetic changes to my PC After about 5 years I finally swapped out my NZXT S340 case. Went with the Lian li pc-o11. Also went a but further and added 3 Corsair LL120's + their LED lighting pro kit. I originally had two unbranded LED strips connected directly to my mobo. Also replaced most of my cables with cable mod cables. Here are few picture I took while I put the parts into their new body: I did make some changes since taking these pictures. The cable you see at the top right that's connecting the LED strips to the lighting node pro was moved to the top left to help hide it. Also my Elgato capture card is missing from the last picture lol I also used some of the provided velcro straps to tie up the 6 pin and 8 pin PICE cables to my graphics card.
  5. Is it okay to have that cable wedged into that heat sink on the motherboard? It's an awesome looking budget build either way! (that cable just has be a little worried)
  6. I just found my new favorite website. Thank you very much sir!
  7. The card I have is a PNY RTX 2080 8GB XLR8 Gaming OC Triple Fan (Amazon link here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07GJQ7BLS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) After I turn on my computer and hit the windows login screen all fans on my card will hit 100% fan speed and will stay there for close to 3 minutes. I've owned this card for about 5 days now and it has been doing this since day 1. I opened up CAM to see the load of the card and it was between 8 and 12% with a temp of 25 Degrees After the fans stopped spinning at 100%, the load went down to about 6% and the temps went to 30 Degrees. I have MSi after burner configured to only hit 100% fan speed at 90 Degrees so I'm not sure why my card is going to 100% fan speed.
  8. What are those wall lights? I've been seeing them a lot lately.
  9. So just a moment ago while I was watching a video on YouTube all 3 of my monitors went black. When this happened I was still able to hear the audio from the video playing but after about 5 seconds that stopped too. I didn't know what just happened, so I started mashing Ctrl + Alt + Del. When I did this I would hear a random beeping sound from my headset. After about a minute of panic and confusion Google Chrome crashed and my PC went back to normal. I can honestly say I've never seen anything like this happen before so I wouldn't even know where to start when debugging something like this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. PC Specs: Windows 10 Home edition Intel Core i7-7700k @ 4.2GHz NVIDIA GForce GTX 1070 SC MSI Pro Series Intel Z270 Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz If you need any more specs I'll add them in.
  10. I'm going to try for a Black and Grey/Silver look. I'm looking to change my Case, Fans and maybe CPU cooler if it will add to the aesthetic more. I'm also option to cable mod options. There's currently only one LED strip in the case that's connected directly to the motherboard's LED header. Here's what my PC looks like right now.
  11. Really nice looking setup! What's your twitch channel? I followed the link on your profile but it said the channel didn't exist. Same for your twitter profile.
  12. So I bought an LED light strip today, hooked it up to my Motherboard (MSI Intel Z270 SLI PLUS) and everything looks to be fine, the LEDs are working just fine. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to control them. I've been told to use either the MSI mystic light controller or the MSI gaming app but I can't get either of those apps to even start up on my PC. When I install them, I get the same error: "The platform does not support this application" I have my BIOS 100% up-to-date and I've tried all solutions I've come across so far. Thanks for your time, Shaun
  13. Hey there, I posted a question about the issue I encountered over on StackOverflow and I haven't gotten any luck getting an answer yet so I'm just posting it here to get it around to some more people: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49982223/managing-windows-hosts-with-ansible-winrm-or-requests-is-not-installed Thanks for your time! 14. I turned off the RGB once I noticed that the battery was depleting faster.
