It has no control until the CAM software starts at launch, so yeah, 100%.

I totally get the excitement here. Is it practical? No? But is it fiber? Yes. Just like with internet, if I could practically replace every external point-to-point connection on all my electronics with fiber optics, I would. Optics are a step for digitial communication across any distance that feels way overdue (even though we're probably only just now getting materials reasonable enough for home use).

I think your ssd might be fine. I would try windows repair as I have had the issue a few times and windows repair usually fixed it.

well, considering that it wouldnt boot, froze it, then it worked until it got warm again, going to have to disagree with you. granted it wont work with every hard drive every time it doesnt work, worked enough to get important infromation off of the drive.

22e24? Do you realize how enormous of a number that is?

There's no need to have a more secure password than that...and honestly these days the service you use is more likely to get pwned itself than your actual account get brute forced.

That being said, Dashlane offers most if not all of what you desire and furthermore it hasn't been cracked several times like LastPass has been. KeePass is also good and open source, however it doesn't sync and I don't believe there's a mobile app.

Describes the issue with passwords. Passphrases are far better for memorization.

Passwords in general, password managers and two-factor authentication.
why you shouldn't use the same password for every website what are one-time passwords, application specific passwords etc.. how to choose a password manager how to enable two-factor authentication (call/sms and authenticator apps)

I agree. JayzTwoCents said that he saw considerable bandwidth improvement over DDR3?

Would have been nice to see a 6 core X79 vs 6 core X99 - especially considering dual vs quad memory channels.

I didn't see any apples in this comparison. Linus was paid off.

Also, why didn't you use an x79 platform that way you could use quad channel in both?

There are arguments for "positive" pressure, where you have more intake than exhaust. If all of your incoming ports are filtered, and the case is pushing air out of the cracks and crevices, there will be less dust. An example of this would be using 2x 140mm and 1x 120mm as intake and only 1x 120mm exhaust. The result of this is that there isn't a steady "wind tunnel" effect.

In testing, the ideal is to be close to equal intake and exhaust. This gives you that wind tunnel effect, and your airflow will have fewer stagnant zones. In your Define R4, I would have 2x 140mm front intake, 2x 140mm top exhaust, 1x 140mm bottom intake, and 1x 140mm rear exhaust. That Sapphire GPU (like all other non-blower style GPUs) will circulate hot air around the case if you don't have a good path for airflow.

I have a similar case with the optional top 120/140 fans or sound dampening. The sound dampening material is nice, but losing that exhaust kills the cooling ability.

a 670 is about the same as a 760, and 760 SLI is about as good as a 780ti
if you want to deal with the heat output, i would go with the 670, i assume you dont pay for elektricity
you could also keep this one for now, and wait for the 800 series and see what they have to offer
if the 800 series isnt too great, theres always loads of high end cards of the previous series on ebay and stuff

Get a 780ti for better performance. The 670 sli option might be more of a heat and noise output for your pc.

Wife's fan method was less ghetto and is the way I'd do it. Although I probably would have just drilled holes for ventilation and seen if that was enough... or just not put it in an enclosed cabinet in the first place
