EllieTheFuzzy's Achievements

  1. for me personally :3. though.... i love the back of the HD 5970, it's a reference design i would love to see come back (Maybe if they can mod it a bit and keep the bat mobile design and use it for the R9 390X?) I guess other mentions i could throw in would be the old EVGA/MSI GTX 580's and maybe the R9 295X2.
  2. Actually for a friend in the US, I'm helping her with her computer. :3
  3. Kind of feels more soothing asking the question rather than going to trust pilot in a sense?. a sort of try before you buy type feel.
  4. http://www.superbiiz.com/ these guys pretty much :3.
  5. Just noticed a few of the parts on pc part picker have them as a seller but i'm not sure if they are trustworthy since i've not really heard about them. are they pretty much like Dabs in the UK or such?.
  6. I was also worrying about the little 128Bit bus on the 960 and maybe thought a 970 would be more in budget than a 980 since it's a bit more than we're willing to spend ^^;. My friend doesn't want to use a Radeon card cause of problems in the past with their drivers, though if there was no problems i'd slap a R9 290 right in there.
  7. Yeah i saw a benchmark or two where the 7950 is pretty much hanging around the lower end cards (like 7850 and such) when it comes to temperatures, and others like the 680/780 and 7970 and such were hanging around a bit higher up. I Have a big love of cool components, Anything under 40C at load anyday....I even run my G2 with the fan on, i love cool that much :'D.
  8. Have me a 7950 and 7970GHZ here (both sapphire) (280 and 280X pretty much) and can say they are just awesome . The 7950 is probably my big pick if you just want a worry free cool card.
  9. Then i'd look into getting a good PSU then .o. cause i cant really think of any high quality PSU at the top of my head rated at 800W. but then again someone could enlighten me. i'll presume since most of the build is really good, The GPU is a R9 290X.
  10. PSU?????? "High power 800W" does not raise confidence. sounds like what a seller would put on a build to sell you a craptacular Besttec Unit or something.
  11. I would NOT Get a CX750 for that build, Owned 2, both of them are dead, Damaged some components along the way, Cruddy units. Heard a story of a guy that built 5 computers with the CX Units and 4 of them died. Bit the Bullet and went for a supernova G2 and have never regretted it, Computer runs smoother than it ever did while under the CX units. I'd save up and least get a Supernova G2, RM 750/AX760 or a seasonic unit, May hurt the wallet but a quality PSU will be worth it, Specially with a Overclocked i7.
  12. i7 4820K @3.7GHZ 212 EVO Usually 25-28C at Idle/Internet browsing. Sometimes 19C-23C
