  1. So, I'm looking to upgrade my old 55" Samsung run of the mill tv to something bigger and better and with black Friday coming up I thought it would be the perfect time! I have been looking at two models that have been revealed to go on sale tomorrow, Thursday. I find myself confused and overwhelmed when trying to figure out which one is the best and what it all means so I turn to this forum for advice. I know there are some real experts hiding here! The TV will be used for high resolution movie watching, netflix / hbo streaming, and some games as I have a powerful PC hooked up to it. The TV's in question are the following: LG's 86UM7600 (86"); starting price €3100, discount price €2100 Samsung's QE82Q60RAT (82"); starting price €2800, discount price €2300 Thanks ! EDIT: I Would prefer a BIG TV as the couch is quite far from where the TV hangs but another option is to drop down to 75" and get the Samsung Q70R (75") for around €2200. Would the image quality be enough to justify the smaller screen size? Also the light condition in the room is dark to very dark
  2. Its definitely not an ISP issue. The thread if found for these settings has many people with the same ISP using those settings and its working fine for them. Here is a picture showing one persons configuration (in Swedish).
  3. Hello! Have been struggling a lot the last few hours trying to set up my IPTV. Using the router my ISP sent me obviously works but its totally garbage so I want to use my asus RT-AC55U instead. Been checking online for how to get it to work and found several threads where its as easy as going to LAN > IPTV , setting your ISP profile to manual mode and fill in the IPTV VID on port 4. After doing so my TV works but I lose all connection to the internet, the router simply displays "Disconnected". I also get the same problem leaving all the VID fields blank, it occurs as soon as I switch to manual mode. Anyone got any idea on how to fix this? I am running the latest stock firmware. Picture one showing manual mode without anything filled in Picture two showing manual mode with VID Neither configuration gives me internet access.
  4. Hello, so to start by explaining my situation, I have one computer which runs Windows 10 but that I want to be able to plug in an SSD, installed with Ubuntu and being boot from that any time I want to. I have been looking around the internet for solutions but I have to say I don't really understand how this works. I've read in a lot of places that dual booting Windows and Ubuntu has some problems, but then I don't understand if that is if I were to have Windows and Ubuntu on the same SSD or if they are still present on separate drives. I would also like to know if there is any way at all for me to somehow install Ubuntu on my second SSD straight from my Windows desktop or if I need to create a bootable USB and install it that way. So that'ts why I'm asking you guys. I don't feel any smarter trying to figure this stuff out by myself so I would LOVE some advice. Thanks!
  5. Not sure that's true. I know people that are doing what Im trying to do and its working for them just fine
  6. Yes I know, like I said I have tried everything =) I have duplicated in windows and also in CCC but it wont work. The refresh rate of monitor goes down to 60 again for some reason
  7. Hey, so I'm trying to duplicate my display signal from my 290x. I have a 120hz gaming monitor and some old 60hz random samsung monitor and I want to display the same picture to both while still maintaining the 120hz refresh rate on my gaming monitor. I cant get it to work though and everything I do seems to be a dead end. Is this a limitation within the 290x that it cant do this sort of thing or is it something else? I have connected as following: DVI to 120hz monitor HDMI to 60hz monitor

  9. Uhm I dont want to use the computer as a heater, I got free heating in my apartment. And you say there will be condensation I guess that is a huge issue and will inhibit me from even doing this?
  10. So, after watching Linus whole room watercooling I got inspired trying something similar myself, nothing as huge, just for one PC. After reading up on everything I needed to know Im now ready to face my last hurdle, the cold. Living in Sweden in the winter it can get really cold, I have read that you can add glycol to the mixture to prevent freezing but what about the condensation that will most likely happen if its -20c or more outside and I start my pc there will be a risk of condensation forming right? Any advice on this? Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the tip about the MO-RA3 it looks really good I will look further into that
  12. Hello , so I'm currently trying to figure out how I can move watercooling solution from inside my case to outside it. I'm not very experienced in this field so I would love some help. What I was thinking is something like this(rough sketch): http://i.gyazo.com/3c35348c32e2b8691c9816b94435ae1e.png mounted on a wooden frame or something similar and then mounted to the wall right behind my PC. One of my concerns is that my pump wont be able to move enough water since the tubing will be longer than it is right now, will I need to buy another pump? Also any general tips and advices are welcome. I want to use the following components: Pump, Alphacool VPP655 / D5 single edition Vätska, EK-Ekoolant CLEAR -1000 ml Slang, Masterkleer PVC19/13mm, Klar, 3,3m Block, EK-Supremacy - Acetal EK-D5 X-TOP CSQ - Acetal EK-CSQ 13/19mm, Svart Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 360mm Triple Radiator NZXT Grid 10-portars fläkthub Reservoar EK-RES X3 250 Cooling i7 4770k and a r9 290 (I want to crossfire in the future) I would also love some tips on good fans. Quiet is priority number one
  13. I flush out the rad. Filled it about two thirds and shook it. Repeated this like 5 times with destilled water. Did not see any real "gunk" come out any of the times I emptied it.
