Aha yea thanks man great help! I had that issue of noise when moving my mic on the old headset. Think I'll take your advice and use PTT as well since I do use it on CS:GO anyway too thanks again.

Hello again, sorry for delay post was pretty crap and had huge delays. I'm now using my Modmic and still regardless of whether it is in the front mic port on the case or the rear one on the mobo there is loud static feedback. Luckily my friend had a spare mic to usb adapter I could use, but I'm not sure what causes this interference, any ideas? (it does it on the desktop and while gaming) But at least now I can go back to using my Sennheiser's

I've tried the rear I/O and the front panel. Re-installed drivers and replugged the HD audio into the mobo, still feedback. Weird thing I have is when I launch any game my mic produces even more feedback which is annoying for my friends. Also plugging the mic into to mobo on the rear caused interference on the S/PDIF audio output Hope my modmic arrives soon so I can find out how much of these problems is caused by the headset.

Okay thanks a lot! I'll get this and hopefully sort out another solution when it breaks

Couldn't find anything on Monoprice but I found Syba on Amazon, saw this little fellow for £10 and the reviews seem good so may get this instead http://www.amazon.co.uk/Syba-SD-CM-UAUD-USB-Audio-Adaptor/dp/B001MSS6CS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1419883543&sr=8-1&keywords=syba You had any experience with this? I'll probably get it either way but just wondering, thanks for the help!

Hey, so I have a headset and it gives a lot of static feedback through the mic. I'm ordering a Antlion Modmic 4.0 because Linus' video was really positive and they have started selling them here now. My question was does nayone know a cheap and reliable microphone jack to USB adapter just in case I get feedback with this new mic? I have looked at this and the reviews are good but shipping is a bit steep for something so small : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-3-5mm-Jack-Audio-Adapter/dp/B0058P0I2C/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1419876722&sr=8-8&keywords=microphone+to+usb+adapter Anyone know something like that with a good price in the UK and reliable? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Love the 900 series, price is great, overclocks like a monster and the AMP Omega looks awesome! From the front at least

My favourite thing has got to be the IPS display, great for working and gaming, then it's got to be Luke's sexy sig on the bottom.....

Ah thanks I am in England, the NH-U12's are £47 and the u14s are £69 on amazon (unless you know somewhere cheaper), I was looking to spend £50 tops. Good to hear about the RAM though, thanks again

Hey, I am planning to try my hand at some OC'ing, I'm using a i7 3770k inside a Coolermaster 690 II Advanced NVIDIA Edition case and was wondering if the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 would get me a decent OC? (I know OC's vary). and if it would fit inside that case as its rather a large heat sink. Also using Corsair vengeance RAM, will that be a problem with clearance or not? Thanks.
