  1. yeah, I disconnected the power, removed the CMOS battery, and moved the jumper to pins 2 and 3 like tha manual said, but no luck. Really hoping I was missing something and it wasn't a bad board. Thanks for your help.
  2. I thought so too, so I tried each stick in all 4 dimm slots individually but it didn't change anything. But i did try each stick individually in another PC and it worked fine.
  3. I did, It told me it was a RAM issue, so I tried changing it but it didn't work
  4. Hey everyone. My dad's work PC is giving him a bit of trouble and I can't seem to fix it. The motherboard is an intel dq67sw, with an i5 2400 There is 8gb of ram installed (2 x 4gb @1333MHz) So when I plug the computer in it does not post, and it beeps 3 times. I thought it was a RAM issue, but I put the RAM in another PC and it works fine. when I asked him what happened her said that for a little while there was a CMOS battery low warning (I did change the battery but it did not change anything.) He said he put the PC to sleep, but there was a power failure, and now it would not turn on again. so far I have tested the RAM in another PC and it works fine, I have replaced the CMOS battery as well as tried to clear CMOS but nothing seems to work.Everytime I plug the power cord in the system switches on Automatically, even with no power switch connected. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
  5. Hi there. I'm having an issue with some of my usb devices. I bought a corsair k95 rgb platinum about 2 years ago, and I leave the backlight off all the time. A few months ago I noticed that when the leds are on there is high pitched hum coming from the keyboard. I didn't make a fuss about it because I leave the lights off anyway, so I didn't bother doing anything. Now I have bought a decent wireless headset, the SteelSeries Arctics pro wireless, and it comes with a control box thing that plugs in via usb, and when I switch the headphones on, there is a constant hum, sort of like white noise in the background. Before I got the headphones I plugged my desk speakers into my monitor and ran them using the GPU, but when I plug them into the lineout on the SteelSeries control box they also get this humming issue. I've plugged all these peripherals into my laptop and other computers and there are no issues there, it's just on my pc. The specs are i7-4790k, asus z97-c and a corsair AX860i. Does anyone know of any solution to this issue? Thanks
  6. I got a second hand Galaxy s9 about 2 months ago, everything was working fine. Then yesterday while using the phone the phone screen glithed out. Sort of like that scene in the Arkaham Asylum game. Now the screen only works if the brightness is below 10-ish% or above 90-ish %, and when the screen is on and working it has a horrible green hue. The blacks look more like a brown. I can't use the power button to unlock the phone as that shuts down the display. The work around was using the always on display and using the finger print scanner to unlock the phone. Ive looked around on other sites and some like ifixit say to replace the screen while other users on samsung's forums say its a software issue. Has anyone else come across this or know any fix. Thanks.
  7. I recently purchased a K95, and I wanted a linear switch, and the only option was the silvers, but I just can't seen to get used to them, I don't like the shallower key travel. I'm thinking of switching the switches to mx reds. I'm aware that this would mean desoldering the switches and soldering on the new ones. I just have a few questions, I'm not sure how the LED's are handled, I know that the switches are classified as RGB but is there an RGB LED in the switch, or is it just a clear case with an LED on the PCB, and how would I work around this. Also anything else that I should know about. Thanks
  8. I found a decent deal on an ssd that’s 42mm long, but my motherboard only has standoffs for 60 and 80.
  9. Hi guys I just wanted to find out if I got a 2242 m.2 ssd, would it still work in a slot designed for a longer 2260 drive, providing I could find a way to secure the drive in place?
  10. I really don't think there will be a 1070ti
  11. I think the Razer blade pro should have been included in the benchmarks too give us some idea of the performance boost from that form factor compared to something that is trying to be slim first and performance second.
  12. Thanks for the recommendation I will give it a try
  13. It's a controller, it's a ps3 controller emulated as a Xbox 360 via scp server.
