  1. A lot of industrial companies already use unity for this, it's honestly not that big a surprise.
  2. Oh man, I'm so excited.

I'm going clay pigeon shooting this weekend! I've been wanting to do that for so long!

Most likely a video to come.

Oh yeah no I'm not worried about that I tend to keep most chemical stuff on my workbench. The most this will see is water with an accidental splash of coffee.

Yeah it's oil based "satin" but tbh it's super glossy.. which I don't really like.. (Mind you the samples at the store looked very much satin.. this is super glossy...)

Plain polyurethane for the gloss coating or are you using something different?

Just thought I should share since I also built myself a wood table (though not genuine hardwood) be careful with things like isopropyl alcohol which you might work with (I don't know). I found out the hard way the two don't get along. If it gets on the surface and sits there (like soaked papertowel) it will wreck your shit.

I used a wood stain then followed up with several coats of polyurethane (which still wasn't enough in some spots) but once alcohol got on the table it re-liquified the poly into something sticky. I don't know if you'll have the same problem.

1.5" Originally was supposed to be 2" but the guy who cut it planed it down for me. It's all round about 100-110lb for the top alone. The frame is rated for 320lb

Here it is on the electric frame, only sanded:

And here's a bunch of pictures with 1 or two coats, none of them look like what it actually looks like. They're ALL OFF.

It's a deep brown (but not that brown) with slight golden tints. It's very nice in person but none of the photos do it justice.

  10. Y'all ever have a neighbor threaten to kick your dog and split your head in half because your dog pooped on a corner of their lawn and you've already picked it up?
It's fun, you should try it.

Easy response, say what's done is done but if you ever threaten me like that again you may find yourself where you don't want to be [implication being jail] and walk away. Granted I'm 6'2" and 300lbs so people don't threaten me twice or in some cases the first time but you would be remis if you didn't at least record the incident if they threaten you a second time call the police and make sure to give the information on the first time the threatened you. It's difficult to not to be the subject of a police investigation if your threating harm to your neighbor over dog shit. Reminds me of a shirt I saw once.

  11. Man, this weekend was a thing..

I came back from getting the wood Saturday and Sunday went to play airsoft with our group.

(If you don't know, it's like paintball but we shoot 2-3x the distance and play 2x 2h games with 50-100 people, it's really fun)

But what comes with this and not airsoft is people dressing up in combat gear and wearing patches.

Well, I nearly broke my leg and got a hellll of a scrape on my arm and knee instead (I was lucky as hell tbh..)

And I never thought I could be disappointed when hurting myself but here we are.

Some guy had a medic patch, but no training and no first aid kit.

The field workers (front desk) didn't have a clue where their kit was and sent a 5 year old to bring me a paper cut bandage.

The kid faceplanted like 10 feet from the counter.. how..

I got some stuff eventually but like by shit how the fuck

  12. I got a new table and lift frame:
    PXL_20220709_180221736.jpg

It needs a coat of finish and sealer, but that will come next weekend.
    PXL_20220709_224428877.jpg

  13. the only difference is literally the boring case metal looks a bit darker and none of your photos show the front. tbh I don't understand why it would need to look good on the inside other than being relatively clean and tool free.
  14. I.. I just mag dumped an AK and an MP5k..

    Today is fun.

  15. It's hard to read a boarding number and not crowd up the front desk..

  16. I'm going to orlando for the airplane thingy this wekend.
I need to put my flight number in for the car rental so they know when I land and if it's late.

This.. I.. I am not flying with the Spanish air force..

  19. Remember that ridiculous keyboard I made a while ago ? (layout only)

I've looked at it again and reached a more.. doable compromise:
    unknown.png

48 macros, no nonsense. (with volume knob over the numpad but it's displayed as 4x keys)

      Murasaki

I love this keyboard, just mashing the side or top keys at random can yield the message AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  20. I've started (yes yes I know, shut up) another project.

Replacing one I had before with something that has a bit more purpose.

I started doing some airsoft with friends, both as weekend sport and sometimes as Milsim. Which is quite fun (and cheaper than paintball imo)

I've been diving back into Fallout New Vegas recently.

I'm building a NCR ranger-dressed courrier kit, and this is gonna be a fun addition:

  21. For the past few days I've been trying to "speedrun" (not really, more along the lines of finishing it under 1h) Fallout New Vegas.

I forgot how buggy and crash-prone this game was.. I keep crashing every time I get near the strip..
