A lot of industrial companies already use unity for this, it's honestly not that big a surprise.

nice render there op, meanwhile real photos...
the only difference is literally the boring case metal looks a bit darker and none of your photos show the front.
tbh I don't understand why it would need to look good on the inside other than being relatively clean and tool free. -

updates?
Unfortunately no, the chip I needed for the keyboard is not in production and the person who made it decided not to make any more or share the files..
And other than that.. I mean making the battery is not that much more and I just don't have time. (And other, more important projects) -
I can't wait for the business to get dissolved entirely, because it's ALSO worthless for cargo.

I'm not sure that follows... microsoft seems to have mostly given up on keeping games exclusive to the xbox platform.
If you read the article put out by Microsoft, there are no talks of exclusivity, they explicitly speak of releasing the games at the same time on *all* platforms.

I swear I'm gonna run out of those fucking gifs. -

WHY ?
Motherboards are dumb expensive, you mentioned the price (which I mean, why are you even bothering if it's that ?) You'll lose a LOT on single core power and you won't get any advantages from the larger ("larger") thread count.
Compared to say, a 5800x it's useless.
Also, chill on the answer spamming. -

Is Threadripper 1950x still worth it to buy in 2021 ?
Absolutely not.

Uh, no they did not invent satelite internet.
Not what I meant, I was specifically speaking of (though I didn't specify it, that's on me) their meshed network environment.
But either way, your comment reinforces my point. They are not the first nor the only ones to sell satellite internet, so where's the problem ? -

What says it best is the following quote from Bezos (Pretty confident that this was before SpaceX started making waves)
https://twitter.com/Siconik1/status/1425667154045771776?s=20 [The source]
The above alone is what is so disturbing that effectively he is using lawsuits as a weapon. I know it's happening in other sectors, but the system really needs to change (where technology is being held back because of frivolous lawsuits).
I think a big point that could be made is that if SpaceX beats all competitors to market, they could essentially establish a monopoly on satellite internet...because the competitors would have to invest billions to catch up (and at a certain point...investing billions before even considering getting customers). With that said, I really do hope that SpaceX is successful in Starlink because it really could be a game changer to a lot of people
It's not like they're blocking anyone from putting things in space.
Or blocking anyone from making their own sat grid.
They came up with the idea, the plan, the work. If anyone wants to copy I don't see how they also have any rights to block the original. -
Lol this is so dumb.
Bezos can't win with nasa because their bid failed, so he takes it out on them / SpaceX anywhere he can.
I hope/doubt it would pass, this seems like it's clearly just trying to cause damage as retaliation.
And it's not like the internet Starlink provides through SpaceX is a government bid like it was with NASA.. there's nothing they can do about that lol.- HanZie82, Forbidden Wafer, soldier_ph and 2 others

Actually by my estimation that was only about 30% or less. It was just the key bits from a very detailed video.

What happened?
On the profile of @RockSolid1106it says he has 3 followers but there are only two profile pictures/names.
Link to a page where it happened, if applicable:

It's not incorrect, people can follow you and hide the fact that they are. Therefore they will not show up.

Hello PC hivemind,
I recently bought a used rift s to come to the glaring realisation that my current setup is not cutting it in Pavlov, Assetto Corsa and ACC, or really anything thats not very simple in its graphics.
My rig does 1080p very nicely, limited 1440p capabilities, and those limited capabilities are currently biting me in the rear.
It's an HP prebuilt i bought for 1000€ back in 2013. I've since swapped the gpu, and the specs are now the following:
CPU: i7 4770 that'll boost to 3.9Ghz
Mobo: whatever future e-waste HP used to make it function, its got USB 3 givem credit
RAM: 16gb of ddr 1600 generic looking ram
GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6gb mini, bought for 250 in 2017 and worth 300 now. what is wrong with people.
PSU: [(dense mandarin) 460w with a 6 pin only] I got a 750w semi modular generic brand PSU of similar vintage that powered the rig i had before it. At some point it went beepity boopity and i replaced the system. Its now in a different windows xp rig and it works great powering an HD 6970 with 2 8 pins!
Drives: one 2tb HDD by western digital to replace the broken ****** seagate 1tb drive that came in it oh my god the pictures were irrecoverable
Now, since my 1080p performance was honestly pretty good assetto ran at 100+ before i went cpu bound which was rarely the case, could i chance it sourcing a 20 or even 30 series card if i find a local deal and shoving it up this ancient systems PCIE slot and run it with a 7 year old run of the mill non overclockable CPU? Buy an SSD while im at it.
Or am i better off buying a used system that has better CPU and RAM?
Realistically, i got 700€ to spend on it.
If anybody's done something similar, id love to hear some ideas
I used to run my CV1 rift on a 4790k + 1070, worked fine for most games. I mostly played DCS & War Thunder.
I'm surprised you're struggling this much..
Did you try maybe cleaning up your windows install to make sure you don't have junk chugging down your system ? -
-
Funnily enough, I already had the win11 leak running on bare metal (tr3960x + 2070s) and on windows 10 it said "your pc is not ready"..
But of course, when I go in win11 it's all fine
Also the images on the website in uhd are soooooooooooo ugly lol
