heh
so yesterday I bought a "non-functionning" macbook pro from early 2012.
core i7
4gb ram
no idea about the drive (I was told it failed and it was broken)
final price : 200$ cad, after I offered 220$ and to pick it up, but they told me since I was picking up 200$ was fine.. wich I didn't say 200 I said 220 butok whatever...)

Anyhow, the already replaced the broken hdd but coudn't install macos on it.
they put a 40gb sata 2 ssd in it. and I swapped it for a 240gb drive.

instalation was a breeze using the recovery mode.

After checking their drive..
they forgot to initialize it....

but who cares. 200$ cad for a MacBook pro :D
