  1. You have a point there, I thought it would be important for when creating textures, materials and getting the scene accurate but I guess I don't need to go that level
  2. So you'd recommend going down more of the gaming route with G-Sync & 144hz rather then colour accuracy of a professional monitor
  3. So I've started doing a Games Technology course at University and feel I need to upgrade my a GTX 780 to a 1080 as well as get a nice 2K monitor to go with it to see the benefits of my card. Looking to get a 27" 2K monitor and not too fussed on the price as it'll last a long time (hopefully). Not sure on what monitor to go for as ASUS and Dell both do some nice monitors with ASUS doing G-Sync gaming monitors and Dell going for more of a professional approach.
  4. Well I'm getting a GTX 1080 anyway when I decide my monitor set up, my GTX 780 could probably do the 3440x1440 at a decent frame rate
  5. Well I play quite a few shooters both 1st and 3rd person, Skyrim, Star Citizen. I would say I don't play driving gamings very often compared to when I had my only Xbox 360 6 years ago.
  6. See I've hear that after a while you don't notice the bezels if they aren't that thick. I mean the monitor I have now has an bezel of nearly an Inch so it stands out big time, but I've used smaller bezel monitors and I barely notice them.
  7. With the price of Ultrawides being quite high (especially for gaming ones) I was wondering if it would be better to have a Triple Monitor Setup for a similar price? The Acer Predator Z35 seems like a good priced 1080p Ultrawide with a UK price of £689.99 http://bit.ly/2baEPu8 Then there's the Asus PG348Q which is a 1440p Utlrawide with a UK price of £998.99 http://bit.ly/1UsTs7E With Ultrawides being £700-1000 for a Single Monitor seems a lot for something that could be achieved with Triple Monitors for a similar pricing. Is it worth investing in Triple Monitors over an Ultrawide? And if so what Triple Monitor Setup should I go for
  8. That Kova looks sweet as. Got the look of a futuristic hover craft with armour plating.

  11. What I like about the Sony Xperia Z2 is the dedicated camera button. Also this one has the awesome LinusTechTips Skin!
  12. I like its brushed "easy to clean" aluminium body. It just looks damn sexy with the red accent stripe and red keyboard back lighting that really hint towards its gaming nature.
