  1. That review refers to lg panel version. If you need overclock and low lag, you need qx2710 single input.
  2. If you can bear cheap construction, qnix qx2710. Quite impressive.
  3. I had the very same doubts. I think 21:9 is better for games, since easier for GPU (less pixels) and glorious for fps and driving games, while 1440p is better for contents (I came from 1536p, 1080 is way too low) and general compatibility. That was a draw, so I decided to consider a third element: refresh rate. I bought a Korean ips in order to reach higher rates. Since IPS defects are mainly lag and ghosting, I thought higher refresh rates would help
  4. That's crazy... Origin update... on-game overlay freezes my pc... disabled in-game client and everything runs ok
  5. actually not I think there's something wrong with by board. I went back to my CRT and gaming sux aswell... maybe I moved some cables while switching monitor. Tomorrow I'll perform a deep hardware check
  6. Nothing new. Installed new driver after clean and reboot. Same issue
  7. Good point. Gonna proceed...
  8. Should I use latest beta or standard driver?
  9. Tested crysis 3, same issue.
  10. Yes, desktop is fine, and FIFA 13 (other test) runs flawlessly at full resolution. Sounds like a video memory issue, but having such an issue even at extremely low resolution seems strange
  11. Hi all, My PC (HD6970) can run BF3 at a good frame rate on my CRT monitor (2048 x 1536). Now I installed a Qnix PLS, at 2560x1440. I tried the game and everything is quite slow (2 FPS...). So I tried reducing resolution. I have 2 fps even when putting 640x480!!!! What's wrong?
  12. Let's put it in other terms: NOT considering resolution and form factor differences, which of these two monitors has better response and less blur?
  13. Well, actually you'll have better field of view, since it will depend on form factor, and the "strange"resolution would be used for those games requiring such a fov only. I want to give a look at such a peculiar solution to know if it would be a sort of letter box gaming or simply a waste
  14. Hi all. I'm pretty attracted by ultra wide format, but I'm attracted by high refresh rates, since I come from high refresh CRT world. Given that -and correct me if I'm wrong- no 21x9 monitor can overclock past 75 hz, I wonder if anyone with a Korean high refresh monitor would try using a 2560x1080 slice in playing, just to take a picture and share the experience.
