So this has probably already been answered, but when I check my speed on speedtest.net it says my Download speed is 9.35mbps, but When I'm downloading stuf fin steam and so on I only get 1.1mbps, is the a problem with my Modem because I am using the stock one my ISP gave me? Or is it my PC?

So I've been a PC gamer since I was five, and I'm now 15 and I've decided to sell my pc, To get a smaller, not as good one and I really didn't know where to post this, but I don't know how much I should sell my PC for, the unit is in Pounds as I am British but I don't want to put it up for really cheap and don't want to sell it for too much as I want to sell it as soon as possible, PC Specs are: G3258 @ 4.00Ghz Corsair h75 Zalman z3 Plus Black Case Palit GTX 770 Jetstream 2gb 128gb Sandisk SSD 500gb HDD WD 2x4gb Generic RAM Windows 8.1 pro Corsair CX430w

So I'm building a system for my girlfriend cause she really needs one but she's on an extremely low budget and this is the partslist for her: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/hPjB99 I'll be giving her storage and an OS and I have a XFX 5450 lying around and was wondering if it would improve her performance in games at all? I know it's a bad gpu but I'm just checking aha, any response will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I tried installing windows through the Windows 10 media creation tool and it didn't work (Since I have tried it through windows 8.1 directly) and this is the error message I get after logging in on windows 8.1. http://i.imgur.com/wZUA1gY.png

So I've used the Windows Media Creation Tool to download a windows 10 ISO. and I don't have a USB or Disc to install it onto, so I was thinking that it might be possible to create a partition on my SSD and use rufus to burn the ISO onto the partition and boot from the partition (If there's a way to do that). Would this work or is it a dumb idea? Any response is greatly appreciated, thanks.

So Im downloading windows 10 for the fifth time now through windows 8.1 (Bare in mind my Internet download speed is 0.7mbps so It takes a long time to download win10). the last four times it has finished downloading it configures itself and then reboots my machine, and then boots back into windows 8.1 and does nothing, the windows Icon is still in the bottom right and I have to redownload it every time, how can I fix this? Any response is greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I used to have Windows 7 installed on a 500gb HDD until I bought a SSD last year. So I decided to install windows 8.1 on the SSD for the faster boot and when I booted up my pc It came to a screen asking me to choose an Operating system, this has not really been a problem. Recently I gave away the 500GB HDD as I got a new 1tb one and the when the PC launches the screen still asks me to choose an operating system, it works fine if I click but if I click windows 7 it restarts (Obviously). I was thinking if there was any way to turn this feature off?. Also I recently downloaded windows 10 through windows 8.1, and when the download finishes the computer configures it and restarts, and when it reboots it takes me back to the screen which tells me to choose and operating system, and I think it is stopping me from installing windows 10. Any response is greatly appreciated, thanks!

So I've just got a new cooler for my G3258 and I was wonder what to change if I want to overclock it.I know how to change the multiplier and It's running at 4.2ghz on stock voltages and I'm just wondering what to change, these are the voltage things that I can change http://imgur.com/BMH099C . So I've just got a new water cooler ( Corsair h75 ) for my PC and I was wondering if this is too hot? ( http://puu.sh/iPjtn/b8df99a2f3.png ) So this is at, what I call, Idle ( Opera running with two tabs ). I've made sure the fans are exhausting out the back and they have two specific intakes from the top of my case and I think this is a bit too hot for idle, Am I just overexadurating or am I right?. Any response would be greatly appreciated, thanks!.
