  1. I would definitely go with a Seasonic or Cooler Master V Series power supply
  2. I'm not sure how I would check that. I'm gonna run a few games and see what temps I get(Something is definitely wrong though yeah). I'll try Battlefield 3 first. Last night on Battlefield 3 I was getting even beyond 75 degrees..
  3. I cleaned the CPU + h100i, applied some Arctic MX-4 paste and reseated the cooler. I ran prime95 for 15mins and left it idle for 5mins.. Screenshots of the temps are attached(I set the fans on the h100i to run in 'Balanced Mode'). I still feel like I'm seating the h100i wrong, any ways to make sure I'm seating it right? I'm screwing down each corner gradually so that even pressure is applied to the cpu.. Although It's a bit hard to position it correctly. (I'm running an old gtx gainward 560ti until my gtx 780 comes, you gotta love that awful looking brown pcb haha)
  4. Yeah my ambient temps aren't high. I do live in Ireland after all.. Yeah, when I get my hands on some thermal paste I'll reseat the cooler and see if the temperatures improve. Thanks for the help guys.
  5. I'll try put some Arctic MX-4 thermal paste on tomorrow, reseat it and then see where I'm at. Does the voltage look okay? I'm a bit new to this.. but some people are having a hard time with the same mobo over-volting the cpu.
  6. Hey, I just assembled this build. I'm running an intel i5 4690k(stock), cooled by a h100i. When I start up my pc, CPU temps are around 45-48 degrees Celsius. At idle around 50-52 degrees and right now at 25-30% usage; temps are pretty high(see below). What could cause this? My first thoughts are that the CPU voltage is too high. What voltage should I run my CPU at and how would I change it?(I am a noob when it comes to tampering with the bios.) Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VII Ranger
  7. I'm putting the HDD from my current pc(Which was built by me, not pre-assembled) into the new system I am building. I tried to run Sysprep but the common "Fatal Error" occurred. There is a fix that requires you to configure SkipRearm to 1 in the unattend.xml file, however, this file isn't there. (I do have show hidden files/folders checked). This is the first time I've ran sysprep. Has anyone come across this same problem?.. or know how to fix it? Remaining Windows Activation count is 3.
  8. sorry for the bump could i just install windows on the SSD and leave it on the HDD and just set the SSD? Do i have to remove drivers and do i install the new drivers on the SSD? because i require different chipset drivers on this build. (btw my parts arrived this morning!)
  9. I like the whole red/black theme(It has a really clean, aesthetically pleasing look to it), brushed aluminum back is a really nice touch. The IPS display is also something i really like. ...Also having Logan ,Linus, Luke, and Austin's signatures on the back would be pretty sweet haha
  10. Hey, I'm going to be buying an SSD and using it as a boot drive. I need to get my OS onto the SSD while leaving all of my files on the HDD. My OS isn't installed on a separate partition to my files. I've seen some people take ownersnip of the Windows folders etc. and delete them but it seems really messy to me. Is there a cleaner way I could do it? Is there a way to create a partition on my HDD and move my OS onto it so I can delete it? or should I just use the method mentioned above?
  11. Sorry for the bump but I found this: This is what I'm looking for right?
