Rock1m1 reacted to JoshQM in Any recommended bluetooth dongle for DualShock 4 controller?
I have it plugged into a USB hub that sits on my desk, but it should be fine in the back of your PC.

Rock1m1 got a reaction from Ben17 in Any recommended bluetooth dongle for DualShock 4 controller?
I got one for from Kinvo for my DS4, the problem is my DS4 loses signal if there is any kind of obstruction between the dongle and the controller, say like a chair or a person standing in between. I am not sure if this is due to my dongle or some other problem. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good dongle for my DS4, one which hopefully won't lose connection when there is obstruction. I don't know why I don't have this issue with my PS4.
Thank you

Rock1m1 got a reaction from GoodBytes in NVIDIA Responds to GTX 970 3.5GB Memory Issue
I have been doing some testing with Vram hungry game like Assassin's Creed Unity found something very interesting. Normally, under Ultra setting, 1080p and FXAA the VRAM would not increases over 3550MB. Even with 4X MSAA, the VRAM only increased to around 3580MB. Then I tried 8X MSAA and went into single digits FPS and finally pushed it to around 3990MB.
Here is the interesting part. I then went back to FXAA and the VRAM usage didn't drop, it remained there. I'm beginning to think the memory bandwidth is okay, the problem appears to be a bug in the driver or firmware not allocating the final 512mb unless you bring it under very stressful conditions. Once the conditions are met, even if I lowered the VRAM requirements by switching from MSAA 8X to a post processing AA like FXAA which hardly affects the VRAM, the used VRAM remains the same as before and well over 3550mb this time around.
I recorded this video using Shadowplay. The stutter once I went to FXAA is probably due to Shadowplay as I didn't experience it myself while playing the game.

Drastic drops like that arent normal even when close to the maximum amount of memory saturated. Hope your denial keeps you somewhat happy.

Was so sad when I heard this and confirmed to be true. I honestly would have waited and gotten the GTX 980 instead if I knew prior.
Over at the Nvidia forums, people are pissed as hell and I ahve to say, rightly so: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/803518/geforce-900-series/gtx-970-3-5gb-vram-issue/71/

I have to agree with @deathjester , so far no games came out properly with Gameworks installed. The only thing it does is to harm AMD gamers with bad performance as they have no access to the source code used for these graphical effects. Reminds me of Nvidia Physix, sucks on both brands.

Is it just a bad coincidence that both of the recent 2 Gameworks title advertised titles suffer horribly on AMD and Nvidia alike?
