  1. Vessel user --> adstak videos: https://www.vessel.com/videos/JemZ8O7Hy https://www.vessel.com/videos/LCoY5zfFf
  2. I would recommend downloading some live distros and testing around your self. My to personal favourites are ubuntu due to the support community and fedora or centos due to personally preferring these for server work. To be honest most distros are very similar but either virtual machines or live distros are the way to go to play around before you take the plunge.
  3. My favourite part of the review was when you told us we could win one but the screen and laser sensing camera are easily my favourite things about the phone
  4. That's what I thought but just thought it would be worth checking looks like I will be installing it tomorrow thanks
  5. Hi, I brought windows 8 at Christmas for my PC and since then I have fully upgraded my PC. Just wondering can I use the same product key before or is there something I can do to install windows 8 with the disk I got as I don't want to have to buy it again
  6. The best way to do this is to simply purchase a powerline adapter with a repeater built in to repeat your signal using WiFi. You can get these on Amazon such as these --> http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/networking-and-wi-fi/network-adapters/netgear-powerline-500-wi-fi-access-point-1203676/review Thing this is what you need and is a hell of a lot better than getting two routers You can always if you already have a powerline is simply buy a WiFi repeater on its own also which are pretty cheap
  7. Yes I was going to mention that. There is many power line adapters with WiFi repeaters in them. Its the future
  8. Could you provide a copy of your /etc/fstab file so we can see the partitions and mounts you have? Could you try running the following and coping this here also ? du -h / | sort -nr | grep '[0-9]G' du -Pshx /* | sort -rh
  9. That PSU should be fine in the video I'm guessing. I did find this which may help with choosing the PSU --> http://www.amd.com/Documents/Selecting-a-System-Power-Supply-for-the-AMD-Radeon-R9-295X2-Graphics-Card.pdf I think it takes 500 watts on it own so as long as the other bits in your set up down take more than 350watt you should be fine. You could always look at a 1000watt which should be plenty because from the sounds of it you have the money and this would cover you for upgrades etc --> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020062-UK-Series-RM1000-Modular/dp/B00FLVIQQ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1403520827&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+1000watt+psu
  10. To be honest that looks like a pretty good build how it is
  11. It doesn't work as well however you can get power line adapters with plugs built into them like this one to solve the issue --> http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-PA451KIT-Powerline-Adapter-Through/dp/B00D8BGLMY/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1403516251&sr=8-13&keywords=power+line Sorry for it being UK as im from there but im sure they will do them for your plugs too
  12. I think as someone has already said your best bet is just get a live CD of a few distro and try them out to see which ones are best. You could try ubuntu, Mint and another one such as Centos and see which one your prefer. I personally don't use windows at home now and stick with Centos but I mainly do server work but gaming would be better supported on Ubuntu or mint if this is what you want. Best thing to do is have a play around and see what you think. Worst that could happen is that you mess up and have to re-install windows or something but learn a lot along the way

    CPU cooler

    I had a similar thread open earlier for the same question and budget To be honest most people recommended the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO and found the best place to be scan or novatech averaging around £25 You could always use some of the £25 you save and buy better thermal paste or simply save it
  14. Think a set of power line adapters is your best bet. A good brand like netgear are very good and not too bad on price either on amazon If you don't know --> http://www.techradar.com/news/networking/powerline-networking-what-you-need-to-know-930691
