Does anyone know if there is supposed to be only 3 capacitors on the motherboard right above the battery connector when it looks like there is a spot for a 4th one

My Pixel 2 XL phone went from one charge with the scanner working to the next with it malfunctioning. When i would try to use the scanner i would get a message saying " fingerprint hardware not available." This is making me think the scanner isn't bricked since it can tell when my finger is against it but it won't actually read my fingerprint. I then tried deleting my fingerprint data and re-adding but it wont read my finger anymore. Is there any possible fix besides sending it in for repairs.

For a science fair project me and a friend are testing the effectiveness of liquid nitrogen cooling. But we are having problems with the computer staying on. It has booted to the desktop ( we are using linux) but it will crash randomly. Can you guys help us identify the problem

it would take a couple hours to get all the kb numbers because almost all of the updates say that they failed. I built this machine and have had it for a couple years and because of another problem i had to reinstall windows a few days ago. the specs are CPU: I7 5820k |Cooler: H80I v2 |GPU: ASUS STRIX gtx 980 ti |PSU: Corsair hx850

i just did a fresh install of Windows and when i turn the system of it installs the Windows update. Then when i turn it back on it says configuring Windows update but stays at 0% the after 5 minutes it says it failed and is referring changes then I can sign in anyone know a fix

I just ended up reinstalling windows. What me and a friend ended up thinking it was, was it being something wrong with the windows login files.

I left it at the BSOD for about a min and nothing happened so i force restarted

When I first started up my computer today it let me get to the desktop, After which it blue screened and I forced a shut down. When I started it back up I got a post screen that said that the overclock failed so I went to the bios and set all the setting to default. I then restarted and now when it gets to the part to sign in it is just a blank screen with my mouse curse (which I can move around) I am running 64bit windows 7 home premium

I cloned my old boot SSD to a new SSD to be the new boot drive. I installed the new SSD and then I start up windows it takes me to startup repair and says my problem can't be fixed automatically. What do I need to do
