dlf reacted to STRMfrmXMN in PSU Tier List [OLD]
Credit to @Starelementpokeand @Energycore for helping out with this long-awaited refresh of the old PSU tier list by Aniallation (who previously went several months without logging in), leaving the old list in need of help. This is simply an update of the list that was flawed in creation by the PCMR subreddit and in dire need of a refresh.

This list is subject to change as new PSUs come out on a regular basis and standards may change or issues with units on the list may develop. A list of PSUs awaiting a tier on this list is at the bottom.

Hey as long as they're making a Vulkan port....can we get a Vulkan WIndows build too? That way Windows 7 AMD users can still take advantage.

Imo schools should just use Linux. Easy enough to teach kids on, less cost, less malware issues. Don't think they need stuff like adobe's software suite.. Apart from that other common software is compatible.

I'm running Linux Mint 17.2 (with Cinnamon, probably soon to be 17.3), I've installed both Gzdoom and Zdoom, gotten both to work with doom 1/2/the others, i'd like if I could play Wolf 3d/SOD along with the Quake games, how would I get them to run on Linux?

KB3035583 is the one that adds the "Get Windows 10" annoying add on to your PC. Dont install that and you should be golden.

Actually contrary to what others are saying you should use the proprietary driver.

For everything else the open source drivers are usually good but for gaming they usually don't work. Especially with newer games.

To install it use this command:
sudo apt-get install fglrx Then this if you want the graphical CCC
    sudo apt-get install fglrx-amdcccle

Since putting in those terminal commands and rebooting, I can get into VictorVran and Shadows of Morrdor (I couldn't before due to some silly OpenGL error).

If you play CoD, you might just be a soldier. If you play Forza, you might just be a race car driver. If you play Left 4 Dead, you might just be a zombie apocalypse survivor. Tell that Doctor to stick to what he or she knows best, which appears to be nothing.

Reclassify the freaking companies as title II, done, we have net(work) neutrality forever until someone else is "elected" to head the FCC and undo that.  Oh and raise the minimum broadband speed to 16 Mb/s (download) & 8 Mb/s (Upload)
