Try clearing your CMOS. switched off with psu switch - turned back on and everything good now - thanks so much for the help

I can't do anything - how would i get to bios from screen - cant turn computer off/reset or anything

It's just stuck at that screen - only things i've tried are the case power and reset buttons and they aren't doing anything

It's on a HDD - no other systems unfortunately Was working fine last night and everything - checked that all the cables are plugged in correctly as well

Hi, My PC has been working perfectly for the past couple months or so since I built it, and today I came home to it, turned it on, and it's now stuck on this black screen with a flashing underscore. I've tried to resent buttons and the power buttons on my case and it hasn't done anything - I didn't want to directly turn in off from the psu so it's currently just sitting there in this black screen. Hi, I was putting together a custom watercooling upgrade list for this build - http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/K4MwRB However while I was browsing through the tubing for the build (hard tubing), I wasn't able to find anything that fit the G1/4 fittings that I had picked - I need to know if I need to change the fittings or if I just wasn't looking hard enough for the tubing (kinda new to this stuff). Also if you could check everything is compatible and works with the above system that would be great. All prices in AUD and watercooling is very strongly prefered to come from PCCaseGear. HI, SO my little brother decided that it was a good idea to download MacKeeper while I was at school - UGHHHHH I have tried to rid the computer of all the files - and successfully managed to rid the computer of all of the files and quarentine and get rid of all the add ware and virus stuff. Anytways, checked activity monitor, all processes, all seems clear until I start seaching deep and I find this process called "MacKeeper ADt". It is the only reminant left of this program, and I want it gone. I tried to force quit it and end it via Activity Monitor, but it keeps coming back (like the rest of the processes until I deleted their files. Anyways, I was wondering if any of you knew how to get rid of this program and if it will do anything and what it does. Given it is a lone process using 0% of CPU and about 3MB of RAM, it probably doesn't do anything but I want to be on the safe side (I know that it is a Mac and virus' are very uncommon, but I am super secure about that kind of stuff). HI guys, So I was messing around on the internet (as you do) and came across some setups of people servers and stuff. This kind of stuff always intrigued me, but I never got around to learning how it all workds. Now, I have become much more interessted into this kind of thing. I know how to build computers and all about that kind of thing, I just want to know the basics of servers and stuff. Like what kind of setup is Linus running and what is it used for? Thats a Z87 (as name implies) You want to be looking for a good value z97 mobo like the MSI Z97 PC MATE For the GPU I would stick with the gtx 970 - way less power comsuming than the r9 390, runs WAY cooler and is much easier to fit inside cases (r9 390 is MASSIVE) - JayzTwo CEnts did a review on it and the performance was negligible. Get the 212 evo cooler for now - will suit you perfectly A nice case like the NOctis 450 (already suggested) would be nice 8GB of RAM is more than enough for gaming so just get that for now and save your money
