So it depends on the amount of apps you are going to use directly on the Headset as if you intend on using it mainly on your PC then there's no real point in getting the larger storage version but, if you are going to load it up with apps I'd recommend the 512GB version. Your machine is more than capable of running PCVR! I use a RTX 3060 laptop with the Meta Quest 2 and it's really good!

Now, I'd hate to call myself an "Apple Sheep" as I know that Apple has serious issues regarding right to repair and their "Walled garden" approach to security. However, it works for me, I've been using Apple products partially since the iPhone 3GS (With short forays into Android with a Samsung Galaxy S2, S7, S8 & OnePlus One between the iPhone 5 and 6S). Also had issues with Windows, I tried Mac OS X during the Vista days after using Windows since 95, returned to Windows 7 and then when Windows 8 was released, I returned to Mac OS X and I have never run a Windows machine as my primary computer again. However, I do have a RTX 3060 laptop for gaming as until Mac OS has major titles and backwards compatibility with some of the classic Windows titles, I'll never get rid of Windows in my tech collection. So I currently run: -16 inch MacBook Pro M1 Pro - Used for absolutely everything, its a power efficient tank of a laptop -M1 Mac mini - Used as a home server these days -iPhone 15 Pro Max - Not had many of the current issues plagued by this release but wish I kept my 14 Pro Max (I'm on a yearly upgrade programme with EE) -Apple Watch Series 6 - Had since release day, have no issues or reason to upgrade -Apple TV (4K, 2nd Gen) - Makes my Samsung TV's OS/UI look awful, with the easy integration with the rest of my setup, its just a great addition -AirPods (2nd Gen) - I had AirPods Pro but the rubber that went into my ears caused a reaction so these are the best without them, do miss the noise cancelation -AirPods Max - I bought these on a whim as I rocked Audio Technica ATH-M50 but they've exceeded my expectations, hopefully will be my main headphones for a long time to come (Better had with the price I paid!! Windows has annoyed me enough to switch my primary OS to Mac OS and Android to me never met my expectations of integration to the Mac, Plus going from an iPhone 4 to Galaxy S2 was one of the WORST decisions I ever made, the S2 lasted a week before I traded it in for an iPhone 4S. Apple has become stagnant though with their phone offerings and with the introduction of folding phones with them maturing to become compelling offerings, the iPhone 15 maybe my last. Getting me to switch back to Windows however ... that'll take a miracle!

I don't know if Casetify ever worked with LMG however after this video from JerryRigEverything I think that no one should work with these intellectual property thief's.

I love vintage Macs, especially from the "Lost Era" as it's called. I only own one a Macintosh Performa 532, the one I have is running Mac OS 8.1 but originally ran System 7.5.1. It can run Mac OS 9.1 but is a machine from the same time as the one used in this video.

Unfortunatly consumer printers (Especially HP) are notoriously known for pulling this sort of things with limiting functionality due to a lack of ink. Some printers have even been known to have this "feature" added via a firmware update so if you have a printer that doesn't have this "feature" then I would research the firmware updates before applying them. Needless to say printers continue to be one of the worst consumer devices.

Now, I work in professional settings in which I've heard way way worse sexual innuendos and crude jokes and as long as everyone takes it at its face value which that it is a bit of fun and banter, there are no issues. Plus the industry I work in is 89% women which puts me in a small minority. No malicious meaning is behind anything I've ever heard on a non WAN Show LTT video (I don't usually watch the WAN Show due to the time difference as I live in the UK). If you do have issues with this then there are plenty of other tech YouTubers who don't include this sort of stuff in their videos. I do understand that there maybe a culture internally which needs to be resolved and quickly otherwise they will loose my support entirely with reforms to the way that they handle HR issues (By hiring or dedicating someone to that role instead of slapping it on Colton's plate with the other 8 duties he has).

I don't know about you lot but this feels like Linus's "Steve Jobs" moment in which his love for the company and his emotional connections to it is clouding his judgement and the way he acts in the heat of the moment. I'm not accusing Linus of being an arsehole (Like Steve Jobs was in the early days of Apple) but he has done the right things to move the company forward, the reason Apple declined in the Late 80s and 90s was due to Steve Jobs's vision being expelled from the company. By stepping down as CEO and becoming the CVO (Chief Vision Officer) I think that he will avoid LMG's decline whilst being able to focus on what he does best, create content. As much as he is flawed, Linus is the soul of LMG and without him, it would fail.

I think that Colton needs additional support as he is juggling allot at LMG, with the current controversy regarding HR issues, I think that LMG needs to recruit a dedicated HR/Personnel Support person to ensure that issues which may happen are given the time that's needed.

How could they when the video was only just released, also, I would hope that the Madison issue is addressed in a different manner. The issue should have been resolved a long time ago in private but now it's been made public LMG needs to take its time when addressing this as you can see what happens when they rush things (e.g. Linus's original post regarding the GN controversy). Things take time to fix and address properly and proper investigations need to take place to ensure that anyone who is guilty of sexual assault is investigated by the proper legal entities (Which ongoing investigations should NEVER be publicly discussed until a resolution has been found with consent of the victim). With other HR issues being resolved by having someone dedicated to the role. As much as Colton may be a good guy he can't continue juggling 18 different jobs.

Okay, here is my thoughts on this. I believe that having it paywalled to begin with was a poor choice so was the "micro" ads during this video, I am guessing that they wanted to keep it in the LTT style which always includes sponsor spots and LTTStore.com bits in it however this video is one in which jokes should have been left out however, for the majority of the video I believe this is why Linus is stepping down as CEO, he must have had an idea or two that issues like this was happening at LTT. This doesn't excuse certain things which I will touch upon in a moment but for the editorial issues I can see that Linus had way too much on his plate and that he is very emotionally connected with this company. Linus built this company with allot of help from his family, friends and colleagues so he reacts in a way in which causes more issues akin of someone saying negative things about your child, are you going to get emotional and say things in which you wish you didn't say, of course you are, you are human but as a CEO, you can't do that. Linus needs to step back and let Terren Tong manage the company and pull it back from the brink of becoming a platform which no one trusts which no one wants to see as we want to have as many companies/channels doing this sort of thing to keep manufacturers honest but to do so LTT needs to be honest too. Otherwise within this video, the "taking time" to rectify issues will be something that is greatly needed and will hopefully ensure that LTT is here for the next 15 years. However, Madisons comments regarding her time as an LTT employee has come at a difficult time for LTT and as much as I believe that certain things should be dealt with privately, these things can't be helped for a few reasons. Firstly the community has hounded her for years since her departure so for her to get us off her back she has had to bring these issues to light in which I fully support. Women need to be supported in tech industries and being (I know at this present moment its he said she said) sexually assaulted and belittled at every turn with no support from her line manager or senior management, THIS is THE major issue at LTT at the moment. Now do I think that LTT should respond publicly regarding Madison, absolutely not on video, this is a private matter that needs to be worked on in the background unless both parties wish to discuss it on camera, this is something that will need to be sorted and quickly but not rushed, LTT needs to fix this sharpish and will need to investigate (not just an internal investigation but have an external party investigate this also) and promptly fire/discipline people who are directly involved with any sexual assaults which happen at LTT. So I am debating to myself, a long time LTT supporter, who donated to support the new office build donkeys years ago if I can continue to watch LTT, the HR issues need to be resolved in a quick manner and they need to appoint someone to dedicate their time to HR issues and not just keep Colton doing it whilst juggling several other duties. If LTT can't take care of their own people, they can't take care of the community and the content they push out to us.

I still own a MacPro 3,1 but it's not in use anymore due to slowly failing RAM (These used to run really hot and are still commanding quite a premium on the used market) so would like to use it again but with me using an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and a Gaming Laptop I don't really have any need to tinker with the MacPro. Do miss the old days though when I did spend allot of time tinkering with Mac OS and gaming. Still remember that the original Halo was supposed to be a Mac only game but Microsoft bought out Bungie.

This looks super interesting and will most certainly give your team more time to do some amazing things, I was ... pessimistic over what Labs would add to a youtube channel but it looks to be working out for you guys and you've managed to recruit some passionate people over there so glad that you guys are continuing to add and improve! I can't think of any features you should add as I am not someone who benchmarks systems as much as I used to do.

So the sisters are out out of the question. Do you have any other family that could help or even a friend who could do a house share or something like that just to get out of your parents home or even this girl? I know that love is a powerful emotion which can cause undue stress depression and anxiety if you aren't allowed to peruse that due to your parents/religion. Just remember that you have the ability to move on and leave your parents home, you can look to rent out a room somewhere, doesn't matter how small as you can move on when your able to. Have a look at if you can get support from the government or anything that could help you. You can do it, work on a plan to get out of there and go forward with that plan. That's the most important thing to do at the moment is escape the abuse of your parents even if you have to sofa surf for a while whilst you get a place to live. When you've left your parents house you can focus on this girl you want to date and where you can work to gain a stable financial situation which I know is getting harder but you can do it! Believe in yourself, you can achieve anything you put your mind to, set yourself the goals you need to hit to be able to live happily and in a way you want to live.

Thing is that the main thing is that your thinking about the alternative of packing your stuff an leaving. As much as it will be tough and you'll think of suicide being the easer option don't. You have years ahead of you and a profession which is applicable to every single country around the world. Both of your sisters have already left and I am sure that they would be able to give you loads of advice on moving to another country and may even have you on their sofa for a while. You have options to go for you have a trade that can sustain you. It's tough when you are living with abusive parents however this is your time to "fly the nest" and find your own way in life, ending it would be a mistake as you have potential to go for it! Don't use a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Ask for help where ever you can find it even if you feel you'll be a burden on other people. Ask your sisters for help.
