  1. That is extremely disappointing because FSX was as well. I would've thought that Microsoft could figure out how to utilize multithreads in a game by now. Shameful for such an expensive game.
  2. I believe this may be my fault for not having a setting on or something... When playing in a game, my Ryzen 7 2700X is boosting to 4.2Ghz just fine, but the game is running the CPU0 at roughly 83% but CPU1 through CPU15 are running around 1-5%. Is anyone else having this issue? I believe I have virtualization turned on correctly in the BIOS but I may be wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Although this issue is happening with my CPU, I am still able to run the game at about medium settings with a GTX 980ti at around 30-40fps! Specs: Ryzen 7 2700X GTX 980Ti 16Gb G. Skill Ripjaw DDR4 ASUS Prime X70-pro HX1200i
  3. My issue isn't the whole having to hit buttons, it's that it shuts off randomly on its own
  4. No I don't sadly. Is it easy to learn?
  5. I built my PC about 2 years ago. My specs are: AMD Athlon X4 860K overclocked to 4Ghz (I have a water cooler it never goes above 50 degrees) XFX 250e (yes I know it's crap didn't know at the time that much about PC's) 8Gb DDR3 corsair memory CS 430 PSU Asus A55-BM Plus Motherboard STARTED with windows 7 ultimate and upgraded to windows 10 corsair hydro all in 1 cooler 1 500gb boot HDD Western digital blue 1 1TB storage HDD Western digital blue The problem I am having is that whenever I leave my PC for 3-6+ minutes untended without a video playing or me moving the mouse it shuts itself off. This also happens in sleep mode. I will leave, put the computer in sleep and then 3-6+ minutes later it turns on, then shuts off. Another thing that has happened is whenever turning the PC on it just sits at the windows 10 loading screen and lags, I then have to hit the reset for it to boot and it trys to update but gets stuck at the update so I then have to hit the reset a second time for it to fully boot in. I have been trying to figure this out on my own but I have had no luck in the past 3 months of this happening. I believe it to be some sort of virus but for all I know it could be something to do with windows 10. I never had this problem with windows 7 but that said, I have had windows 10 since it came out and the problem only started 3 months ago. I know that I could probably just set the pc to backdate itself to 4 months ago when it was running fine but I have several new games, and several photos on my computer that I would not like to lose in the process. If anyone has some ways that I can look at what might be causing this to happen or any ideas on how to fix it PLEASE help!!!
  6. I have an Asus A55BM-PLUS that I just bought to replace my MSI a78m-e35. When I go to use the bios my mouse is frozen and when I go to move it around it bounces back to the place it was before. I updated my BIOS to version, 2103 and this did not fix it. I'm not sure what the issue is but I need it fixed. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, AMD athlon x4 750k, 500Gb WD blue (with OS), 1Tb WD blue (mass storage), XFX 250e, corsair vengeance 2x4 8Gb mem.
  7. So I have an MSI motherboard (a78m-e35) and an XFX R7 250e gpu. When I turn on the system I get nothing on screen. My screen wakes up and shows a little 99 in the bottom right corner and nothing else happens. I never see the MSi logo or any type of boot or BIOS menu. I was wondering what may be wrong. Also in the motherboard setup booklet it says to put OS in before trying to do the BIOS. But I;m pretty sure you need to set up BIOS before doing OS. Another problem I am having is that NONE of my USB ports are live, they are all dead, making it impossible to put my USB stick with OS on it in to get the OS going. I am just really confused and need help. If anyone could help me out that would be such a big help and greatly appreciated.
  8. Yes everything is in firmly and plugged in. Just the gpu does not power up. I'm not sure if it is DOA or if it isn't receiving power.
  9. So I have gotten all parts for my computer and it won't power on. The fans fun, hdd turns on, disk drive powers up, case lighting turns on and is bright. But my gpu does not turn on. I called msi my motherboard company and they are saying I need a 450 watt minimum psu. I have a 430. Please tell me if I do need a 450 watt or if the 430 is enough. My specs are: Msi a78m-e35 Amd Athlon x4 750k Xfx r7 250 Samsung disk drive WD 500gb HDD 8gb (2x4gb) corsair vengeance ram 3 1500-2000 rpm fans 1 cold cathode light Cx430 psu Please tell me if I need a 450 or larger psu.
  10. I have been looking at getting a PC for a while. I have been looking at the CX430 from corsair which is plenty of watt for my system, on Cooler Master's PSU calculator I only need a 240 watt. I'm going for something between 400 and 450 watt because I will be upgrading things. I was wondering if there is any other Power supply out there that is as good as the CX430 from corsair but maybe a bit cheaper. I'm sure I sound like a very cheap person but the reason I need things for cheap is because I am on a very tight budget.
