What's the difference between the 2i2 and the Solo? I saw that the Solo didn't have a volume knob for the headphones, but the 2i2 does?

Was thinking about trying to get my hand on an XLR mic in the close future, and i'd need some kind of conversion between XLR and USB. I also need an AMP/DAC for my pair of headphones. Anything that doesn't suck for about 100 euro?

I had a pair of G35's which had this virutal surround as well, and they did NOT sound good. I suspect the other "7.1 gaming" headphones or headsets do not sound any good as well, you'd be better off looking at a good pair of headphones and getting a modmic.

The yeti shock mount is around 700kr in my country, which is just about 70 euro. The razer shock mount, if i'm able to find it may only be just about 50 euro. I think the seiren is slightly larger, although i'm not sure. Plastidip is a good idea.

Do you think this... (razer seiren shock mount btw) Would work with this? Anybody have any experience with putting different shock mounts on the yeti? I have a yeti blackout so the color matches better with the seiren mount., and I really can't see a huge difference between the razer shock mount vs raidus 2. Although I may be wrong.

Very minor unless you're into overclocking. Seriously, don't get a board with a 4, soon to be 5 year old chipset. Stay away from AMD CPUs in general until they release Zen.

Well we had the same Realtek ALC1150 chip, so I figure we'd have just about the quality... maybe. I'll probably take a gamble and hope that it works, in that case.

It's not that they couldn't drive them, but could they drive them to an acceptable standard? Generally you'd want some type of external amp, or am i out of the loop?

How much is this thing able to drive? I says "600 ohm loads" on the box but I find it really unlikely that this thing would be able to drive 600 ohm headphones. Any clarification? Going to be the deciding between the K612 Pro which is harder to drive, or the AD700x

Ok guys, so i just ordered this shitty suspension pole thing. I assume i'll need some type of shock mount to make it fit, or will the screw on the end of the pole actually be able to fit the threading on the blue yeti? I'm thinking i'll probably need a shock mount, because honestly it looks too small to be able to fit that big of a microphone. How do i make the thingy fit with the other thingy? I'm also poor as dirt because i just bought the yeti without thinking about accessories, so if a shock mount is required i need to find the cheapest one. Will this glorified piece of PVC fit around the microphone? Will it fit onto the pole thingy? :wacko: Thanks,

A quick google didn't really tell me a whole lot, so i figured i would just ask here. What's the difference between the Gaming 3, 5 and 7? What's the difference between the different markings after the chipset? i.e X, MX, N.
