  1. This one is actually a PLS. Although it is Samsung's version of IPS indeed. Yup, I'm skeptical about the pricing too. Kind of why I'm going to forums like this
  2. Hi, I have made the same post in reddit a few hours ago but got no response. Trying my luck here. Thanks!
  3. Holy... how could I ever forgot about DDU. Thanks a lot. It's working fine again.
  4. Hi, I accidentally enabled the Always 3D Clock feature on GPU Tweak II (ASUS's version of afterburner) and after that, my screen blacked out. Waited for a few mins then the screen went back on but is frozen. Restarted the machine and it won't get past the windows loading page - can't even get to the login screen. I can confirm that the GPU is still fine though, as it works in safe mode. I am using it now actually. Through some tinkering with the registry I was able to uninstall GPU Tweak II inside safe mode but the issues persists. Seems like the setting was saved on the GPU BIOS? Can't run in integrated graphics since I am on Ryzen 3 1200 Tried the DVI port on my motherboard but it only shows a black screen (Asus Prime B350 plus) Installed MSI afterburner in an attempt to reset the GPU settings to default but it cannot detect the GPU (VGA driver is disabled on safe mode) Device manager detects the GPU though (Asus GTX 760 DirectCU II OC) Not sure how to reset my GPU settings to default without booting windows normally, if only I can clear the GPU BIOS setting like on motherboards Any tips?
  5. I need to replace my 5 year old rubber dome A4 Tech Keyboard KRS-83. Good luck to everyone!
  6. The Mechanical Keyboard please! I want to replace my 5 year old rubber dome a4tech. Good luck to everyone!
  7. Thanks! Now my only concern is how I'm going to connect these to my PC and speakers. The SMSL uses a RCA port for inputs while my PC uses a 3.5mm jack, is it fine to just use a splitter-like cable like this?
  8. So you mean to say they're just fine? I also asked this in /r/audiophile and got these responses What do you think?
  9. Does your audio inputs and outputs show up in device manager? Are your speakers set as default playback output?
  10. I think the NF F12 is worth it as an upgrade. The industrial ones, not so much.
  11. Noted. Thanks! I am actually planning to buy something new from a mall or something.Craigslist is not a viable option in my country unfortunately. But thanks for your input
  12. Any specific brand/model to watchout for? How much watts do you suggest?
  13. So I have managed to snag myself a DIATONE DS-28B that I want to connect to my PC. My initial plan is use a 3.5mm to 3.55 cable to connect my PC to an amplifier, and generic speaker wires to connect the amplifier to the speakers. Now what I'm looking for is a decent/budget amplifier. Not interested in those expensive, ultra high quality amps where you can distinguish whose vocal cord is dong what in a song. Poorly done joke aside, I only want a decent listening experience with little to no overpowering in highs, mids and lows. Positional audio is not required (though I'm not sure if the amps are responsible for that, anyway). Song(s) of choice : Mostly riffs by Megadeath and Pantera, instrumentals by Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, Occasional vocals from Bee Gees and The Carpenters and classical; Tchaikovsky and Brahms (please dont judge me). A quick google has led me to this amplifier Lepai LP-2020A+ Tripath TA2020 Class-T . Anything similar to that price range? Would you mind adding any recommendations for my plan? Thank You for your time TL:DR • Have : Speakers PC (built-in audio, Z97x Gigabyte Gaming 3) • Needs: Cheap Budget/decent Amplifier Set up inputs and ideas • Listens to : Megadeath Pantera Joe Satriani Steve Vai Bee Gees The Carpenters Tchaikovsky Brahms
  14. So basically, if I use the vacuum from a feet away that's fine?
  15. I have a paintbrush here though I'm not sure if its plastic or something, can I use that instead? Would you mind suggesting a safe distance for blowing off the dust? I'm not really knowledgeable how static electricity would work in this scenario to be honest and I'm pretty paranoid since my PC just got out of warranty .
  16. Hi. I want to clean my dusty PC and I have this vaccuum cleaner that can blow and suck ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). I have read from almost every forum that sucking the dust will cause a static electricity buildup which can potentially fry my components. What I am wondering is blowing the dust off of my pc will do the same. At 1300w, this baby can blow off dust from 3 meters away. Also, I'm wondering if I could use a toothbrush to aid in removing dust from my GPU PCB. PS : Asked around malls and hardwares within 50 km radius and for some reason, not a single one have compressed air in stock. Nobody I know has an air compressor either. Help?
  17. I want a new SSD to give to my friend who is on the process of ascension #pcmasterrace.
  18. My country is one of those places where 212 EVO is "phased out" and 212x is an overpriced "high end product" SMH Actually this is the one. My country doesn't know the meaning of sale. In PC parts at least. Whelp, since most of you wouldn't buy it, I won't either. Thanks!
  19. Should I go ahead with the purchase? Any ideas? EDIT: Vendor said it is used for 4 months.
  20. New-ish. It looks new but I wont be given a receipt and warranty for the item. So... i should stay away from this deal?
  21. I have a chance to buy a Cooler Master Seidon 120V for 31.5 USD. Should I go ahead and buy it or should I just save the cash and buy a more decent one?
