  1. Yeah i think in my head i knew waiting to buy everything at once was the best option but i have an urge to build and no funds behind me <_< Suppose my next question would be can i base the money i will need off a build list made of current components or will this change massivly over the next few months?
  2. So im just wondering which components to order first when building a rig over an extended period? Is it better to buy the minor components such as fans, cases etc that wont greatly affect the performance first or should i focus on buying the more major components such as the mobo, cpu and gpu as these are the larger expense in a build? Or as a third option should i save up X amount of cash then make part selections. Since it will likely make the difference, im looking to make a watercooled OCed i5 gaming rig with 770 level GPU(s)
  3. Looking at the trailer im guessing this will be mostly gamepad orientated, the serise seems to have left the mouse and keyboard style behind. Still definatly top of my wish list
  4. Nope but thats what tools are made for, wanted a clean looking case that i could smith things like windows and vandle switches into
  5. So after looking at a few ideas for a mATX build yesterday i've decided i can go even smaller. I want to build a gaming rig around the MSI Z97i Gaming AC motherboard, even more so with the number of deals i can currently find here in the UK. I've settled on a Fractal Node 304 for the case but im struggling to choose a air cooler for the build, i know the Noctua NH-D14 would be a good choice but i hate how ugly it is. Anyone have any similar performing alternatives?
  6. Bitfenix Comrade once you take the front off its just a black box, plus its cheaper than an R4, in the UK at least
  7. It's good to see corsair looking at this, might cause some other brands to do the same also damn i can't wait for those graphite 780T cases to arrive
  8. Personally i like the carbide 540 high airflow cases, but everyone has their own preferences.
  9. That case is a FUll tower ATX case so yes it will happily fit your components, there are much better cases avalible for that money though IMO
  10. Just be honest with them if they ask why, you've tried all the normal trouble shooting methods so i can't see why they would deny the RMA
  11. i've managed to break a PCI slot when building, got a bit heavy handed reseating parts when it wouldnt post.
  12. Depends what you want from it ATX = more expansion in the future mATX = current trend + overpriced because of this, but allows more compact builds
  13. Yeah goodbye Graphics card, two PSU failing so highly unlikely, i would RMA that card
  14. ^ This, i am worried about this as well
  15. I was just going off sapphire "Requirements"
