if this just stops their positioning systems it wont stop quadcopters in a fully manual mode. Racing quads or simple drones (manual control assisted by a gyro for instance) will be unaffected. And if someone makes an advanced drone that does not use gps nor remote control (camera for tracking + ai for control?) no jammer will stop them.

would it work with a normal loop and the radiator/coil of tubing submerged in a bucket of cold circulating water? tap --> bucket --> drain Coil/radiator in bucket --> pump --> PC --> Coil/radiator in bucket This way i can have a normal distilled water loop cooled by tap water instead of air.

This i just an idea i had, i have no plans of actually doing it. But for curiosity, can you link me to one of these threads?

I have only experienced a slight discoloration at work once, and never at home. Never had problems with loss of water. My parents told me that the only way i could do this is in the basement for a couple of reasons: -Water pressure -Leaks (there are drains on the floor in the basement) -I aint getting two tubes of water up to my room -Tube length would be a lot shorter in the basement (less than whole room watercooling of tubing) btw i think a leak in the old whole room watercooling at lmg would be more disastrous as they didnt have drains on the floor and the house/office was made of wood

All i know is that almost all water found in rivers here is completely safe to drink. And the report said that the tap water is very high quality.

I found an old report saying that the water is soft.

interesting

Damn. Can the bacteria be stopped with UV light?
-
I can also add that water is so abundant here it is almost impossible to waste it. Most days, if we don`t use the water it just goes in the sea.
-
My idea is simple. Instead of using radiators and pumps in a loop, use cold tap water that goes in the drain after cooling the PC. Tap --> CPU --> GPU --> Drain. Where i live in Norway we don`t pay for water usage, only for being connected. This idea would be cheaper as it doesn't need a radiator nor a pump, and possibly cooler depending on how cold the tap water is.

NASA confirms that the Electro-Magnetic Drive works
Stadin6 replied to RagnarokDel's topic in Tech News
ion thrusters are real tho. the EM drive is completely different -
It is supposed to be a simulated satelite. It gives understanding in how satelites work. i agree the name is somewhat misleading.

No, we didnt have GPS. Some other groups did tho, but i dont think they got it to work
