Hi, I'm in need of some advice in building a PC for a friend, I'm happy to build it for him as I have experience doing so however I'm not up to date with all the latest hardware - I'd appreciate it if someone can drop a part list for what he requires. Budget (including currency): £1,000 (GBP) Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: World of Warcraft, Various Total War games, Call of Duty. Other details: He already has a setup currently, however it is getting extremely dated (i7 2600K & R9 390) and needs an upgrade. Currently playing at 1080p, no need for a new monitor as he is happy with the one he has. Any and all ideas appreciated! Thanks, TangoSheep

You've linked the website, you need to link your specific parts list, there's one right above the part list.

Hey everyone, I whipped up a quick PC on part picker for a friend, he has £600 for a budget and I came close with this build. Obviously it has gone over, so I was hoping you guys could alter it so that it manages to make it under budget or very close to. Here is the link for the build Thanks EDIT: I have done some tinkering, updated the link to the build. I just changed the processor from an i5 6600k to the i3 6100 after doing some research on the chip.

PC Stuck on POST Until I Restart
TangoSheep replied to TangoSheep's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
It is yes -
Hey guys, I've tried googling this in many different ways and I haven't managed to find an answer that could explain what's going on. When I turn off my PC, I turn my PC back on it gets stuck on the POST image. However, if I then restart the PC again it boots fully into Windows. Any ideas?
-
I'll try that, thanks.
-
I've tried other sites, like Facebook or Vessel.
-
Always the start. It fixes after a few seconds.
-
I've re-installed drivers and used an older version of the drivers. Still the same issue.
-
Well I ran it for 5 minutes there and no errors came up, what's next?
-
I'm running it now, been running for 1 min and no errors. How long should I run it for?

Hey LTT forum users, I recently purchased an MSI R9 390 and whenever I watch any video, no matter the platform sometimes this occurs?
-
Today I got my MSI R9 390 delivered, I've installed it and have been having some fun playing Fallout 4. Okay, so when I'm playing League of Legends, or World of Warcraft in borderless mode, I seem to be getting some sort of micro-stutter, really weird. Also, idle temp is 60c solid and under load my GPU hit 72c is that fine?

Thanks, and I have the 3770k
