  1. Yes the AOC 2460PG seems also a good choice. The Acer was on sale yesterday and i bought it. Thanks for the info guys
  2. Currently I'm looking for a new gaming monitor. It should be 24" and the resolution not higher than 1440p (i have a GTX 970). Also it should feature G-Sync and 144Hz. So for me it seems that the Acer XB240HAbpr is the best solution. Or do you have any other great ideas? The budget is not limited.
  3. No Haswell would be more expensive and also I don't like the 2011-3 socket.
  4. Hello guys So with the new Skylake platform also released in my country (Switzerland) I thought about upgrading my entire System. Except the graphics card. But I don't know if the upgrade would be worth it. Here's my current system: CPU: Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz CPU-Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61 RAM: 8GB DDR3 Motherboard: Intel DP67BG Graphics card: Gigabyte GTX 970 Case: NZXT H440 I thought about upgrading to the following parts: CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K RAM: HyperX Fury 2x 8GB Motherboard: ASUS Z170-Deluxe What do you think of this parts and would you classify this upgrade as useful? I know that my 2600K is pretty good for overclocking. Maybe I should consider this oppurtinity aswell? Thanks for your answers in advance, would love to hear some inputs.
  5. Yeah I'm aware of that. But didn't you hear some high pitched noises when you did?
  6. Have you ever tried to run the fans at full speed? (100% with Afterburner)
  7. Would you lock it with programs like MSI Afterburner or turn G-Sync on? As I stopped the fans under full load, I dont think it suffers from coil whining. Edit: Sorry didn't see your edit
  8. Fixing it by myself is no option for me, as I have no clue about that. Considering to RMA it. You have no Information about bad fans on the Gigabyte Model, do you? Maybe I just catched a monday object.
  9. But I didn't buy a new graphics card just to play in 60 FPS Thanks for the Info though. Should I might make a video, where you can hear the noise?
  10. Hello guys, As many of you, I've also bought a GTX 970. I chose the Gigabyte G1 to be a bit more accurate. Now, when my card runs at idle I don't hear any uncommon noises, but under laod the fans start spinning faster and there are some high frequency noises. So I was wondering, if my new GPU suffers from hearable Coil Whining and I run a few benchmarks. When running the benchmarks, I stopped the fans with my fingers the noise was gone and it was all quiet. Suddenly my question is: Do these ugly noises come from the fans or from coil whine? PS: Please excuse my horrible english
  11. Personally I would go with the Corsair HX750i. I own one by myself and am very satisfied with it. It has a platinum efficiency, is built with high quality capacitors, has a 5 years warranty and the fan isn't spinning until 30 - 40% of load, which makes it really quiet. Also it comes around with the Corsair Link environment which can be used for fan controlling. Also it is fully modular and has black sleeved cables which may suit your build.
  12. Do you guys mean this one? https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/gigabyte-gtx-970-gaming-4gd-gm204-4gb-video-card-2759793
  13. I guess the title says it all. I heard a lot of good things about the Gigabyte, but I don't want to influence your opinion! Which is the best GTX 970?
